Rudy Giuliani Watch: Giuliani Leads GOP Polls in Nevada
Giuliani, Hillary are 2008 Favourites in Nevada
Supporters of the Republican Party in Nevada would like Rudy Giuliani to be their candidate in the 2008 United States presidential election, according to a poll by American Research Group. 31 per cent of respondents would support for the former New York City mayor in the state’s caucus.
Arizona senator John McCain is second with 25 per cent, followed by former House of Representatives speaker Newt Gingrich with 22 per cent, and Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney with four per cent.
Again, Mayor Giuliani showing strength in the polls – this time in the West.
Surprising weakness of McCain and Romney: McCain is a Senator in neighboring Arizona and Romney has ties to neighboring Utah (CEO and Organizer of the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, Utah).
On the other hand, Newt Gingrich shows strength.
Stay tuned…….
