I’m amazed at how simillar Rudy’s plan is to Romney’s… it seem’s like America’s Mayor might be taking credit for something he had nothing to do with (again). The main difference is that Romney want’s the government to help pay for the very poorest people’s health care, while Rudy’s answer is “They’re gonna have to wait till ‘the market’ makes it cheap enough to afford… but hey they can buy TV’s and cell phones… so suck it up poor people!” Which makes little sense… but I may have mis-understood his 5 min of rambling on the subject. Oh and I’m sure 8 million new yorkers would have appreciated it if he’d come up with this plan and actually done somethign about it when he was mayor…

I believe Rudy announced his plan weeks before Mitt announced his healthcare 2.0 plan without the mandates.

Romney’s plan while he was Governor of Massachusett’s was abysmal at best and socialism at least.

National review has a correct anaylsis here.

And, by the way, the poor get free care now.

    Ask me how I know.
