Cindy Sheehan: Go Home! Part 2
Cindy Sheehan with her Anti-War handler, at the January 2005, “Words and Music in Honor of Fahrenheit 9/11” gathering, held at Los Angeles’ House Of Blues.
Mohammed at Iraq the Model has A message to Cindy Sheehan.
Michelle Malkin has additional messages for Cindy Sheehan.
And from Varifrank, who posts a very powerful and personal essay, “The Call.”
Others blogging…
– Michael Fumento on Mrs. Sheehan’s complaint that she’s not getting enough media attention. Really.
– Vicious moonbats–mad about the firing of one of my hate-mailers from the law firm he sent his bile from–tried to retaliate against RedState blogger Erick Erickson. Josh Trevino has the details. Unbelievable.
– The Anchoress reflects on recent political discourse and then gets threatened by a Cindy Sheehan groupie.
– Michael King at Ramblings’ Journal on the flip-flopping Sheehan. Michael also features photos of Sheehan receiving a kiss from President Bush at their meeting last year–photos that have curiously disappeared from Sheehan’s website.
– Power Line hears from a reader on the scene in Crawford, Tx., and rounds up some Sheehan-related commentary.
The photo says at all.
This woman is a crackpot Leftie using sympathy for her fallen son to drive home a political point.
Pathetic!

Proposition 77 Watch: California Supreme Court Restores Measure to November Special Election Ballot
Why is California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger smiling?
Proposition 77 has been restored to the November Special Election Ballot by order of the California Supreme Court.
Legal challenges to the initiative will have to be made after the November election (providing the people of California vote for it).
The ASSociated Press has High Court OKs Calif. Gov. Redistricting.
The Sacramento Bee has Supreme Court Puts Redistricting Measure Back on Ballot.
In a statement released late Friday afternoon, Schwarzenegger, who has been on vacation all week, applauded the court’s action.
“I am pleased that the people of California will have an opportunity to vote on Proposition 77 this November,” Schwarzenegger said. “Close to one million Californians signed petitions demanding redistricting reform and today, their voices have been heard.”
So, let the campaign begin!
Flap bets the Democrat legislative leaders nor the Leftie employee unions, like the CTA and CNA are not smiling so much tonight.

Air America Radio Scandel: NY Times Gets it WRONG; AP LATE
Michelle Malkin has AIR ENRON: MSM ERRS AND LAGS.
According to Emily Gest, a spokeswoman for the New York City Dept. of Investigation, the “transcript” of Al Franken’s remarks cited by the New York Times in this article apparently does not exist. “There is no official transcript,” Gest informed me. “You should expect to see a correction in the Times.” As I noted last night, the Franken quote reported by the Times differs from what Franken said here. I’ve sent e-mails to the Times asking them to explain the discrepancy. Stay tuned.
Don’t hold your breath Michelle waiting for them to respond. Flap had the error too in this piece, Air America Radio Scandel: New York Times ….FINALLY.
It seems the MSM would rather cover the spectacle of Crackpot Cindy Sheehan in Crawford, Texas rather than a down-right theft of public money by a left-wing radio station, Air America.
Well, Flap supposes better late then never with the ASSociated press and their piece, Investigators probe community center loan to Air America Radio.
August 12, 2005, 7:01 PM EDT
NEW YORK — State and city officials are investigating how $875,000 from a community center in the Bronx wound up in the coffers of Air America, the liberal radio network.
A spokesman for Attorney General Eliot Spitzer said his office has opened a probe into the financial dealings of the Gloria Wise Boys & Girls Club, which runs programs for poor children and senior citizens and was funded largely by government grants and contracts. …
Note the time stamp…….a little late.
Oh Yes, all of the reporters are with the President.

Cindy Sheehan: TV Campaign Against Bush Begins
The Huffington Post has Gold Star Families For Peace Launches New Ad Supporting Cindy Sheehan…
Gold Star Families for Peace, a coalition of military families whose loved ones have died in war, released a TV ad this morning featuring Cindy Sheehan asking the President “How many more of our loved ones need to die in this senseless war?”
The ad will air on Crawford and Waco cable channels near Bush’s ranch. Plans are in place to air the ad throughout August wherever Bush visits during his vacation.
“All I wanted was an hour out of his extended vacation time, but he’s refused to meet with me and the other military families,” said Sheehan. “We just want honest answers.”
Sheehan has refused to leave Crawford until the president meets with her. Over 700 people have showed up at her camp outside Bush’s ranch to show their support
Consoling a mother who has lost her son is never easy.
The Jewish World Report has Consoling a mother is never easy.
The president has talked to her once; she says now that he offered nothing to dull the dagger thrust into the most tender places of her heart and that in his attempt to console, he only made things worse. It’s not hard to imagine how anything anyone could say would deepen grief and make the hurt more acute. Losing Spc. Casey Sheehan was awful enough, and now the media exploitation of the mother’s grief threatens to disrupt the family circle.
Flap has the video of Cindy Sheehan’s ad here.
After viewing the ad it reminds Flap of the last Presidential campaign and the lefties calling Bush a liar. Lefties call everyone a liar.
There is no new material in the ad. No revelations – only the same old leftie anti-war crap. Bring the Troops home, Bush lied about WMD’s, Bush lied about Al Qaeda.
Yawn.
But, the media…… what better in a slow news cycle summer than to cover a spectacle involving the President.
Oh! Cindy Sheehan in her ad does NOT mention the fact that she has already met with the President.
And…. yesterday…..
The White House put out an accounting of all the meetings that Bush has had with families of the war dead — 900 relatives of 272 people who have died in Iraq and Afghanistan. Sheehan met the president in June 2004 but said she deserves another visit since there have been so many revelations about faulty pre-war intelligence since then.
“My view is, is there any left-wing publicity hound who the media won’t build up? You have Joe Wilson, you have Bill Burkett, you know the guy that sold CBS on the story about Bush last fall and now you have this woman. This woman wants to go in and tell the President that the war is about oil because the President wants to pay off his buddies. She’s a crackpot, and yet the press treats her as some important protestor.”

Patterson Dental: Lied About Earnings Statements?
Market Wire has Law Offices of Marc S. Henzel Announces Class Action Lawsuit Against Patterson Companies, Inc.
A class action lawsuit was filed in the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota, on behalf of purchasers of Patterson Companies, Inc. (NASDAQ: PDCO) publicly traded securities during the period between February 24, 2005 and May 25, 2005, inclusive (the “Class Period”).
The complaint further alleges that as a result of the defendants’ false and misleading Class Period statements, Patterson’s stock traded at inflated levels during the Class Period, increasing to its historical all-time high of $53.85 per share, allowing the Company’s top officers and directors to sell more than $44 million worth of their own shares at inflated prices. The Company’s true financial status, including its Q4 2005 declining gross sales, declining Dental Supply segment sales, declining Dental Supply operating profits, declining Dental Supply operating profit margin, declining net income and declining gross margin growth, was ultimately disclosed on May 26, 2005. On May 26, 2005, following defendants’ revelations, the Company’s share price plummeted 14%, erasing $1.1 billion in market capitalization as it fell below $46 per share on record volume of over 10 million shares traded.
Flap wonders if the hype about the Cerec 3D lately has something to do with shoring up the bottom line for Patterson?
Isn’t business wonderful?

Cindy Sheehan: The Next Rosa Parks
Xrlq has Rikki Klieman Said What?
CourtTV contributor Rikki Klieman has been filling in for Bill Handel for KFI lately. This morning, while discussing the Cindy Sheehan affair with Michelle Malkin, Klieman said Sheehan could be “the next Rosa Parks.†O-kay. Between Nancy “Win Ugly†and Catherine “Whutz a Bill of Attayndur?†Crier, Klieman’s silliness brings to three the number of CourtTV talking heads who have me convinced that the network has no quality control whatsoever.
Ok!
Rikki Klieman, wife of Los Angles Police Chief, William Bratton, gets the MORON of the Day Award.
Flap does not listen to KFI 640 any longer, but prefers KRLA 870 and the Salem Communications network.

Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger: Womanizer
FRIEND: Gigi Goyette signed a confidentiality agreement with the American Media Inc. about an alleged affair she had with Arnold Schwarzenegger. The publisher agreed to pay her $20,000.
The Los Angeles Times has Tabloid’s Deal With Woman Shielded Schwarzenegger.
Days after Arnold Schwarzenegger jumped into the race for governor and girded for questions about his past, a tabloid publisher wooing him for a business deal promised to pay a woman $20,000 to sign a confidentiality agreement about an alleged affair with the candidate.
American Media Inc., which publishes the National Enquirer, signed a friend of the woman to a similar contract about the alleged relationship for $1,000.
American Media’s contract with Gigi Goyette of Malibu is dated Aug. 8, 2003, two days after Schwarzenegger announced his candidacy on a late-night talk show. Under the agreement, Goyette must disclose to no one but American Media any information about her “interactions” with Schwarzenegger.
American Media never solicited further information from Goyette or her friend, Judy Mora, also of Malibu, both women said. The Enquirer had published a cover story two years earlier describing an alleged seven-year sexual relationship between Goyette and Schwarzenegger during his marriage to Maria Shriver, California’s first lady.
So, Arnold is a womanizer.
The Enquirer had two years earlier published the story.
And the Governor admitted this while sparing his wife and the public the details:
When Schwarzenegger announced his candidacy on “The Tonight Show,” he speculated that he would face accusations of infidelity.
Host Jay Leno asked if he was prepared for a bruising campaign, and Schwarzenegger replied: “I know that they’re going to throw everything at me and they’re going, you know, to say that I have no experience and that I’m a womanizer and that I’m a terrible guy, and all these kinds of things are going to come my way.”
Flap fails to see any relevance to California politics or California public policy here.
If the Los Angeles Times wants to repeat the hatchet job they did on Schwarzenegger before the recall election of Gray Davis, then so be it.
Their circulation is already declining and will only accelerate their ultimate demise.
Has the Los Angeles Times run a piece on the Air America Radio Scandel and the theft of hundreds of thousands of dollars from poor kids in New York? NO!
But, I suppose gossip about a celebrity California Governor sells papers.
SEX does sell.

TED TURNER BLASTS REPORTS HE’S JOINING FONDA’S PEACE TOUR.

The KLUTE actress, who was dubbed Hanoi Jane for her vehement opposition to the Vietnam War, is planning to join forces with military families whose loved ones have served in Iraq, for an anti-war bus tour next spring (06).
But her third ex-husband Turner was furious when gossip site PageSix.Com reported he would be touring with the 67-year-old.

“Mr Turner wants me to tell you he will not be joining Jane.”
