California Special Election Watch: Bulworth and Bening Try to CRASH Schwarzenegger’s Bus Tour for Reform

Actor Warren Beatty speaks to reporters after being told he couldn’t enter a rally where California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger was holding a rally to promote propositions 74, 75, 76, and 77 at Montgomery Field in San Diego Saturday, Nov. 5, 2005. Beatty opposes the propostions.

The ASSociated Press has Beatty Tries to Crash Schwarzenegger Rally

The state’s special election verged on a celebrity showdown Saturday when Warren Beatty and his wife Annette Bening attempted to crash a campaign appearance by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The Hollywood couple strode side by side to the entrance of a cavernous airport hangar where the governor was about to address several hundred supporters. But they were blocked by a Schwarzenegger campaign aide, Darrel Ng, who told the “Bulworth” star he was not on the guest list and didn’t have the appropriate wristband to get inside.

“You have to have a wristband to listen to the governor?” Bening asked. “He represents all of us, right?”

    These folks are just RUDE.

And Benning you are a smart-ass BITCH who showed NO CLASS last week when you refused to acknowledge Maria Shriver, the Governor’s wife, at a luncheon with whom you have socialized on numerous occasions.

You and Bulworth need CLASS lessons.

Beatty’s appearance caused momentary confusion at the rally. Just before the governor took the stage, the hangar door was closed – literally in the face of Beatty and Bening. It was later reopened as Schwarzenegger began to speak

Inside, Schwarzenegger told cheering supporters that his slate of four ballot proposals would “reform the broken system” in Sacramento.

In a later interview, he alluded to Beatty only indirectly.

“There’s the main event, then there is the sideshow,” the governor said. “I don’t care about the sideshow.”

Beatty drew the ire of some of the governor’s supporters who called him a Hollywood liberal and a has-been actor.

“It’s time for some people to retire,” said former San Diego Mayor Roger Hedgecock, who hosts a popular radio talk show. “I’m trying to be gentle about it but it’s clear that Warren is over the hill and desperately looking for sIomething else to do.”

So, like Steve Frank dressed in the “chicken suit” doggedly harassing Democrat Governor Gray Davis in the recall election are Warren Beatty and his classless wife the “two UNION stooges” following Schwarzenegger?

Beatty, 68, planned to shadow Schwarzenegger throughout the day as the governor worked his way north to Los Angeles. Beatty urged people to vote against the Nov. 8 ballot measures supported by Schwarzenegger.

In Anaheim, Beatty told about 100 supporters outside a building where Schwarzenegger was speaking that he believed the issues on the ballot could have been resolved by the Legislature, but the governor forced them into a special election because he knew there would be low voter turnout and a higher chance of success.

“To my knowledge, I have not heard him debate a human, living person,” Beatty said.

He did not attempt to enter where Schwarzenegger was speaking.

Flap supposes Beatty has not been watching the last few “live” townhall meetings where the Governator has engaged concerned California voters and political activists.

Or is he so feeble minded……. he has simply forgotten?

Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., and California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger talk with the media on his campaign bus tour of southern California Saturday, Nov. 5, 2005. The two were on their way to a campaign stop in Riverside, Calif. promoting the special election.

Beatty also told supporters, “My experience in politics goes way, way back, much further back than Arnold’s. I don’t drop the issues simply because I know someone socially.

And how do you spell NO CLASS?

Warren Beatty and Annette Bening = NO CLASS

California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger ralleys supporters in front of his campaign bus in San Diego.

France Riot Watch: 13 Cars Torched As Unrest Reaches Paris

A firefighter extinguishes a car in ‘Les Musicians’ housing complex of Les Mureaux, north west of Paris, Saturday, Nov. 5, 2005 on the tenth day of unrest. Vehicles and buildings were torched by youths in largely immigrant areas who began rampaging after two of their peers were electrocuted last week at a power substation while hiding from police they feared were chasing them.

The ASSociated Press has 13 Cars Torched As Unrest Reaches Paris

The urban unrest that triggered scores of arson attacks on vehicles, nursery schools and other targets across France reached the capital overnight, with police saying early Sunday that 13 cars were burned.

By 1 a.m., at least 607 vehicles were burned — including those in Paris, said Patrick Hamon, spokesman for the national police. The overall figures were expected to climb by daybreak, he added.

The violence — originally concentrated in neighborhoods northeast of Paris with large immigrant populations — has spread across France during the past 10 nights, extending west to the rolling fields of Normandy and south to resort cities on the Mediterranean.

In the Normandy town of Evreux, arsonists burned at least 50 vehicles, part of a shopping center, a post office and two schools, Hamon said.

Five police officers and three firefighters were injured battling the blazes, he said.

The unrest is forcing France to confront long-simmering anger in its suburbs, where many Africans and their French-born children live on society’s margins, struggling with unemployment, poor housing, racial discrimination, crime and a lack of opportunity.

The violence that began Oct. 27 in a suburb northeast of Paris took an alarming turn late Saturday when arsonists struck in the French capital.

So, is Chirac going to allow these criminals to burn his country down?

But Alito wears this status on his sleeve: leaving the cloistered courtroom, he emerges, blinking, into the sunlight.” Then Milbank achieves new journalistic excellence with this observation: “Alito caught his foot in carpeting and briefly stumbled while getting in the elevator [leaving the office of Sen. France Riot Watch: Rioting Spreads From Paris Across France

French riot police officers patrol in the middle of the highway of Saint Denis, north of Paris, early Saturday, Nov. 5, 2005 on the ninth day of unrest. Vehicles and buildings were torched by youths in largely immigrant areas who began rampaging after two of their peers were electrocuted last week at a power substation while hiding from police they feared were chasing them.

The ASSociated Press has Rioting Spreads From Paris Across France

Marauding youths torched nearly 900 vehicles, stoned paramedics and burned a nursery school in a ninth night of violence that spread from Paris suburbs to towns around France, police said Saturday. Authorities arrested more than 250 people overnight — a sweep unprecedented since the unrest began.

For the first time, authorities used a helicopter to chase down youths armed with gasoline bombs who raced from arson attack to arson attack, national police spokesman Patrick Hamon said.

The violence, which was concentrated in neighborhoods with large African and Muslim populations but has since spread, has forced France to address the simmering anger of its suburbs, where immigrants and their French-born children live on the margins of society.

Hillary Clinton Watch: Bill Touts Wife as a “Better President”

The ASSociated Press has Clinton: Hillary Would Be Better President

Former President Clinton said in an interview Friday that he believes his wife would do a better job than he did in the nation’s highest office.

New York Sen. Hillary Clinton has not said whether she plans to run in Nonetheless, her husband told Israel’s Channel Two television that her experience as first lady would help make her a strong president.

“In some ways she would be (better) because of what we did together,” he said from New York. “First, she has the Senate experience I didn’t have. Second, she would have had the eight years in the White House.”

“I think she wouldn’t make as many mistakes because, you know, we’re older and more mature, and she is far more experienced now in all the relevant ways than I was when I took office,” he added. “So I think in a way she has the best of both worlds.”

Bill Clinton was interviewed on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the assassination of Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin. He is expected in Israel later this week for the Rabin memorials.

And the Hillary Clinton for President Press juggernaut proceeds – pandering to the Jewish/Israeli Press.

Stay tuned for undoubtedly much more.
