AFP: Iran’s Ahmadinejad tells Israel to pack up and go

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad Sunday told arch-foe Israel to “pack up” and move somewhere outside the Middle East.

“I advise them to pack up and move out of the region before being caught in the fire they have started in Lebanon,” said Ahmadinejad, who has repeatedly called for the Jewish state to be relocated elsewhere on the planet, the state news agency IRNA reported Sunday.

Iran refuses to recognise Israel and opposes any two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Ahmadinejad has in the past called for Israel to be “wiped off the map” or relocated as far away as Alaska.

Ahmadinejad is playing the western media cycle again and bloviating as usual about Israel and the Iran Mullah’s Jew problem. But, will the Mullahs put their money and resources where their mouth is?

Maybe, but doubtful…….

Pakistani Shii’ite Muslim hold portraits of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, (L) and Hizbollah leader Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah , (R) as they chant anti-Israel and US slogans during an anti-Israel protest rally in Islamabad July 21, 2006. Imamia Students Organisation, organised the rally to condemn Israel’s air strikes on Lebenon and Gaza, as part of country-wide protests.

Iran’s Mullahs are “slow playing” Hezbollah and allowing them to do the heavy lifting by fighting the Israeli defense forces and dying. Ahamdinejad and his Jihadist cronies are COWARDS and allow their proxies to martyr themselves while they sit in lands far away from the conflict.

On Saturday, Ahmadinejad lobbied Muslims to be more active in seeking an end to Israel’s continuing assault on Gaza and Lebanon.

In a show of support, scores of young Iranian boys and girls staged a support demonstration opposite the Lebanese embassy in Tehran carrying Lebanese flag and pictures of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.

An Iranian technician works at a Uranium Conversion Facility (UCF) in Isfahan, November 2004. Iran has again rejected international demands it freeze its controversial nuclear programme and warned the UN Security Council against choosing a “path of confrontation.”

Demonstrations, bloviationg and threats are all Iran can do at this point – especially to stall an adjudication of their nuclear program by the United Nations Security Council.

Oh yes, one other tactic: take away Pepsi and chocolate from the Iranian people – with a boycott of Western/American products.

Time: Why Iran Isn’t Cheering

Parvin Heydari, an Iranian mother of two, was flipping back and forth between the nightly news and Oprah when a bulletin on an Iranian state channel caught her attention. It urged Iranians to boycott what it called “Zionist products,” including those made by Pepsi, Nestle and Calvin Klein, and warned that profits from such products “are converted into bullets piercing the chests of Lebanese and Palestinian children.” As evidence, the voice-over intoned, “Pepsi stands for ‘pay each penny to save Israel.’” Heydari says she changed the channel, as she has no intention of crossing Nestle’s Nesquik off her shopping list. “Lebanon has nothing to do with us,” she says. “We should mind our own business and concentrate on policies that are good for our economy, and our kids.”

Hezbollah and other Iranian clients may EVENTUALLY figure out who is dying for whom. Hezbollah martyrs are shot by the Israel’s and Iranian housewives cannot buy Pepsi Cola or American style denim jeans for their kids any longer.

Is this a “DISPROPORTIONATE” SACRIFICE?

You betcha……

Speaking to a crowd of thousands of anti-Israel demonstrators, Iranian parliament speaker Gholam Ali Haddad Adel told Israelis: ‘The towns you have built in northern Palestine (Israel) are within the range of the brave Lebanese children. No part of Israel will be safe.’
