Senator George Allen Watch: The N-Word FLAP

    allenseptember25bweb

Sen. George Allen, R-Va., answers questions about his Jewish heritage during an interview at the offices of the Associated Press Monday, Sept. 25, 2006, in Richmond, Va. Allen also denied the allegations of racism made against him which appeared in a recent magazine article.

AP: Allen denies using racial slur in school

Sen. George Allen (news, bio, voting record) on Monday denounced as “ludicrously false” allegations from a former college football teammate that he frequently used a racial slur to refer to blacks in the early 1970s and that he once stuffed a severed deer head into a black household’s mailbox.

Allen’s campaign also released statements from four other ex-teammates defending the senator and rejecting Dr. Ken Shelton’s claims. Shelton leveled the allegations against the former University of Virginia quarterback in an article published Sunday in the online magazine Salon.com and during an Associated Press interview Sunday night.

“The story and his comments and assertions in there are completely false,” Allen said during an interview with AP reporters and editors. “I don’t remember ever using that word and it is absolutely false that that was ever part of my vocabulary.”

Larry J. Sabato, one of Virginia’s most-quoted political science professors and a classmate of Allen’s in the early 1970s, said in a televised interview Monday that Allen used the epithet.

“I’m simply going to stay with what I know is the case and the fact is he did use the n-word, whether he’s denying it or not,” Sabato, now director of the University of Virginia Center for Politics, told Chris Matthews on MSNBC. Sabato would not say whether he had heard Allen say the word, and did not know whether it was true that Allen used the word frequently in college.

Flap has used the N-Word. And he is NOT proud of it. Alot of folks have said this epithet/slur either out of frustration, anger or stupidity. However, Flap has NEVER cut off the head of an animal and stuffed it into a mailbox of some black folks – nor has he been falsely accused of such a stunt.

Flap warned that during the Macaca FLAP, Senator Allen appeared unbalanced and angry.

On the other hand, James Webb has FRAUDULENTLY used President Reagan’s likeness in political ads. He, in fact, has LIED – implying the dead President has endorsed his candidacy.

Whether this N-Word story is true or not, Senator Allen and candidate Webb should re-examine their campaigns and abandon the politics of personal destruction.

If it were up to Flap, he would disqualify both of these MORONS and select two new candidates who could BETTER address the issues upon which Virginians demand of a United States Senator.

Bill Clinton Watch: Excuses are Clinton’s REAL Legacy in the Global War on Terror

    clintonseptember25aweb

Former U.S. President Bill Clinton (R) speaks during an interview with Chris Wallace during the ‘FOX News Sunday with Chris Wallace show’ in New York in this video grab taken on September 22, 2006.

    National Review: Bill Clinton’s Excuses

No matter what he says, the record shows he failed to act against terrorism.

“I worked hard to try and kill him,” former president Bill Clinton told Fox News Sunday. “I tried. I tried and failed.”

“Him” is Osama bin Laden. And in his interview with Fox News’ Chris Wallace, the former president based nearly his entire defense on one source: Against All Enemies: Inside America’s War on Terror, the book by former White House counterterrorism chief Richard Clarke. “All I’m asking is if anybody wants to say I didn’t do enough, you read Richard Clarke’s book,” Clinton said at one point in the interview. “All you have to do is read Richard Clarke’s book to look at what we did in a comprehensive systematic way to try to protect the country against terror,” he said at another. “All you have to do is read Richard Clarke’s findings and you know it’s not true,” he said at yet another point. In all, Clinton mentioned Clarke’s name 11 times during the Fox interview.

But Clarke’s book does not, in fact, support Clinton’s claim. Judging by Clarke’s sympathetic account — as well as by the sympathetic accounts of other former Clinton aides like Daniel Benjamin and Steven Simon — it’s not quite accurate to say that Clinton tried to kill bin Laden. Rather, he tried to convince — as opposed to, say, order — U.S. military and intelligence agencies to kill bin Laden. And when, on a number of occasions, those agencies refused to act, Clinton, the commander-in-chief, gave up.

    Read the rest here.

Flap agrees with Hugh Hewitt that Byron York has completely destroyed Clinton’s tantrum of yesterday. Even Billy Boy poking his finger at Chris Wallace and yelling at his staff after the interview did nothing to endear him with the American public he failed to protect from Osama bin Laden.

Clinton did LITTLE to fight Al Qaeda, bin Laden et. al. despite his protestations that he TRIED.

Why else did Bubba wish to intimidate ABC to prevent the network from airing The Path to 9/11?

In the Global War on Terror results matter not pathetic excuses from former HAS BEEN President’s who could have prevented 9/11 but FAILED.

Again Flap has to agree with Hugh and George Will:

“Clinton is not the worst president the republic has had, but he is the worst person ever to have been president.”

AP: Abbas says unity effort ‘back to zero’. (via LGF)

Accusing the Islamic militant group Hamas of backtracking, moderate Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas warned on Saturday that his efforts to set up a national unity government that is acceptable to the West are “back to zero.”

Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh of Hamas said Friday he would not lead a coalition that recognizes Israel, dealing a blow Abbas’ attempts to form a power-sharing government between his ousted Fatah group and Hamas.

On Saturday, Hamas officials suggested that Abbas had oversold the emerging coalition to the international community, portraying it as more conciliatory toward Israel than it was meant to be. Despite Abbas’ pessimism, Hamas insisted a deal could still be struck.

Abbas is to meet with Hamas leaders in Gaza on Monday.

The latest setback comes at a time of growing tensions between Hamas and Fatah, particularly in the Gaza Strip, where some Fatah members have accused Hamas of involvement in the assassination of a Fatah-allied security chief last week. If the rival factions fail to reach agreement, more violent confrontations appear inevitable. …

Hamas fears it will lose popular support if it softens its hardline positions too much and becomes indistinguishable from Fatah. Recent polls indicate that a majority of Palestinians don’t want Hamas to recognize Israel, perhaps as a matter of pride, even though two-thirds also want Abbas to negotiate a peace deal with the Jewish state.

Bill Clinton Watch: Clinton Vs. Wallace on Fox News Sunday

Real Clear Politics: Bill Clinton: Play It as It Lies

Former President Bill Clinton, never one to let truth stand in the way of a good line, has decided to reincarnate himself as our tough, anti-terror President. The man who ran away from military service and displayed striking contempt for our armed forces has now announced that he did more – and would do more – to combat Osama bin Laden and al-Qaeda than anyone else. In his view, he should be recognized as the best man to fight that enemy.

Speaking to Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday, Clinton made a bevy of startlingly anti-factual remarks. He announced, for instance, that conservatives had criticized him for obsessing about bin Laden during his presidency – rather than the truth that he was roundly condemned for doing next to nothing about this serious threat to American security. Clinton blamed the Bush Administration for failing to stop the al-Qaeda terrorists before 9/11, saying that the Administration had eight months to get bin Laden and didn’t. That conveniently overlooks that Clinton’s Administration had eight years to do that job, with al-Qaeda using the last two of those years to plan 9/11.

Read the rest of the Clinton half-truths here.

Allah has the video of Fox News Sunday here.

    The transcript is here.

Does Bill Clinton STILL think he is President? His performance was a pathetic attempt to cover his ASS.

    The truth is out there.

Global War on Terror Watch: National Intelligence Estimate

    iraqseptember25aweb

Supporters of former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein take to the streets during a demonstration in Tikrit, 175 km (110 miles) north of Baghdad, September 22, 2006. A newspaper report that a U.S. intelligence analysis said the Iraq war gave rise to a new generation of Islamic radicals and made the overall terrorism problem worse was ‘not representative of the complete document,’ the White House said on Sunday.

AP: Democrats cite report to undermine GOP

Democrats on Sunday seized on an intelligence assessment that said the Iraq war has increased the terrorist threat, saying it was further evidence that Americans should choose new leadership in the November elections.

The Democrats hoped the report would undermine the GOP’s image as the party more capable of handling terrorism as the campaign enters its final six-week stretch.

Well. the Democrats had better dream on….

A partisan attempt to spin the National Intelligence Estimate (NIE) is frought with danger.

    Why?

Sure enough, the White House says that the stories in the Post and the New York Times are “not representative of the complete document.” That’s very likely true, but we can’t know without reading the whole report. And in all likelihood, the reporters who passed on the leakers’ spin don’t know either.

And the history of the NIE:

But it’s also true the NIEs have certainly included some major blunders. The 1997 NIE, the last one before the 9/11 attacks on global terrorism, mentioned bin Laden in only three sentences as a “terrorist financier” and didn’t reference al-Qaeda at all. And of course, it was the October 2002 NIE which was a significant factor in the decision to use force against Iraq by famously asserting, “Baghdad has chemical and biological weapons as well as missiles with ranges in excess of UN restrictions; if left unchecked, it probably will have a nuclear weapon during this decade.”

Michelle Malkin debunks the entire “LEAK:”

The NYTimes and WaPo went big yesterday with news of a leaked classified National Intelligence Estimate report, which reportedly claims that the Iraq war is exacerbating Islamic terrorism.

If our intelligence agencies are laboring under the moonbat illusion that Muslim hatred of the infidel West didn’t really start bubbling until the year 2003, we are really in deep, deep doo-doo. Have they not been paying attention over the last year? All it takes is a few cartoons or a dropped Koran or a defiant apostate or a Muslim woman in a bikini or a papal speech quotation to set off The Religion of Perpetual Outrage. Someone order up some copies of Legacy of Jihad and Islamic Imperialism stat.

Ed Morrissey has a good reality check, as do a few of his commenters.

And will the entire NIE ever be released?

    NOPE – It is classified……

And the partisan spin by the Democrats is obvious.

Playing politics with national intelligence have the Democrats NO SHAME?
