Giuliani Notes: Florida – Rudy Beats Hillary and GOP Field
Giuliani Widens Lead Over Clinton In Florida, Quinnipiac University Poll Finds
Former New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani has opened double-digit leads over top 2008 Democratic presidential contenders in Florida, beating either New York Sen. Hillary Clinton or former Sen. John Edwards 50 – 40 percent, and topping Illinois Sen. Barack Obama 52 – 36 percent, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released today.
This compares to a 47 – 42 percent Giuliani lead over Sen. Clinton in a March 7 survey by the independent Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh-pe-ack) University.
In the GOP race:
Rudy – 35%
McCain – 15%
Gingrich – 11%
F. Thompson – 6%
Romney – 5%
Favorable vs. Unfavorable Ratings:
Rudy: 59-19
McCain: 48 – 25
Clinton: 47 – 45
Obama: 42 – 20
Edwards: 50 – 25
Romney: 65 percent haven’t heard enough about Romney to form an opinion
Fred Thompson: 74 percent haven’t heard enough about Thompson
Mitt Romney will announce his first quater fundraising figures within a few hours. But, does it matter?
Apparently, for Mitt’s candidacy money is not buying you any love. Fred Thompson beats him in Florida and he has not even announced his candidacy.
Look for more attacks on Rudy from the Clinton media machine. Rudy WILL beat Hillary in Florida, California and the Bush won red states – game over.
