Anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan cries as she remembers her son Casey. She has announced her official bid for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s seat Californias 8th district.
Cindy Sheehan announced her intention to run for Congress against Democrat Nancy Pelosi in California’s 8th Congressional District yestereday. Pelosi is an 11 term incumbent and Speaker of the House.
Sheehan has NO CHANCE of winning in California’s heavily gerrymandered Congressional districts. She will run as an independent in the November 2008 general election.
Anyone want to bet she has trouble qualifying for the ballot?
