purdueengfountain1web8xu Purdue University Graduate Student UNHINGED and Arrested for Threats to President Bush et al Part Three

Purdue University Engineering

Flap had the first part of this story and missed the end. But, two of my children are back at Purdue, ready for the start of the new semester and I came across the end of the line for Vikram Buddhi.

A Purdue University graduate student was convicted of threatening to kill President Bush, Vice President Dick Cheney and others in postings on the Internet.

Vikram Buddhi, 35, an Indian national who was attending advanced engineering classes at Purdue’s West Lafayette campus, was found guilty by a federal jury yesterday on 11 counts of making threats that were posted in a chat room in 2005 and 2006.

Buddhi faces up to 35 years in prison when he is sentenced later this year.

All bark and thankfully no bite from this NUT.

Wonder if Homeland Security will deport him after he serves his sentence?

1152546713 c432897629 California Republican Party Bailed Out of Campaign Debt

Two donor associates of California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, Paul Folino and Larry Dodge have stepped up and bailed out the California Republican Party.

Think this will ease the budget stand-off with GOP State Senators?

NOPE

But, at least the Governor will be able to speak at his parties upcoming state convention.

capt8c2d098b72fe44b9b30jx0 Mitt Romney Watch: Surrogate Hugh Hewitt Attacks Fred Thompson on Gay Marriage

Republican presidential hopeful, former U.S. Sen. Fred Thompson R-Tenn., holds a baby pig at the Iowa State Fair Friday, Aug. 17, 2007, in Des Moines, Iowa.

Mitt Romney has figured out that he has to compete with Fred Thompson for the social conservative faction of the GOP.

Thompson campaigns in Iowa and SURPRISE Hugh Hewitt attacks Thompson on Gay Marriage – not noting that Mitt has flipped on this issue too.

Thompson vs. Romney is going to turn down and dirty – each hoping for a knock-out blow so they can go one on one with Rudy Giuliani.

Flap thinks they will merely split the social conservative vote and deliver up the nomination to Rudy.
