GOP You Tube Presidential Debate Watch: CNN Fails to Vet Clinton Gay Partisan and Others

hillarynovember29aweb

Matthew Balan over at Newsbusters has all of the details including links.

CNN, as part of its Republican debate with YouTube, failed to mention that retired general Keith Kerr, who announced he was gay after his retirement from the Army, is a member of Hillary Clinton’s “LGBT Americans For Hillary Steering Committee.” Not only did General Kerr ask the question via a YouTube video, but he was also present in the audience, and got to ask the candidates for a “straight answer” (pardon the pun).

General Kerr’s, whose question came 47 minutes into the 9 pm Eastern hour the debate, is also part of the Servicemembers’ Legal Defense Network’s advisory council, an organization “dedicated to ending discrimination against and harassment of military personnel affected by ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ and related forms of intolerance”

Flap warned about this format and why this is NOT Lincoln-Douglas. And, there you go – an exposed set-up by a Hillary Clinton (although they deny it) or Democrat plant.

And Michelle Malkin has MOREMORE PLANTS that is:

For example, Journey from Arlington, Texas

And, then exposed as a John Edwards supporter post debate:

For EVEN more PLANTS take it over to FREEP.

Last night’s debate was lively but the FLAWS in the format are readily apparent. Flap prefers substantiative debate of issues rather than the gimmicks and sound bites that are dominating the television airwaves.

Can we return to issue-driven debates for the remainder of the race for 2008?

PLEASE………

This kind of thing still surprises me when I hear about it!

I think its just the idea that CNN believes they could get away with it without really trying to cover their tracks.

Anyways, this idea that the states ought to decide whether or not to legalize the killing of innocent babies is inherently vile and evil. Anyone who makes such an argument (like Ron Paul, Fred Thompson, etc.) is by definition a bad person.

To get a better idear of what I’m talking about check out this analysis of Ron Paul’s response to a question asked on YouTube about abortion a few months back.

You are upset that an Edwards supporter asked Ron Paul his toughest question yet about so called conspiracy theories? At least somebody is asking tough questions.

Have you followed Michelle Malkin and HotAir’s coverage of this?

There were at least 6 (last I checked) people who were either affiliated with a particular Dem campaign, or are known (with a simple search or look at their YouTube videos) Democrats who have a favorite Dem candidate, and Malkin has even uncovered a former CAIR intern!!!

Bottom line, can anyone imagine what would happen if Fox had a Democrat debate (if they hadn’t all chickened out of it, they would have), and Fox had a bunch of right-wing supporters of Huckabee, Thompson, Romney, and Giuliani, some of whom actively campaign for some of those candidates others who are NRA chapter presidents and evangelical pastors, etc. posing as “undecided voters” asking the Dems questions. Can you even imagine it? The rest of the media would finally think they had their “gotcha” to take down Fox News. It would be the biggest scandal in decades, etc. etc. etc.

Lucky for CNN, even though they aren’t far left enough for folks at CBS, MSNBC, and the NY Times, those organizations don’t want to expose the obvious extreme left bias in 99% of the media, so they’ll largely sweep this CNN thing under the run.

Our CAIR supporters not allowed to ask questions? Again, what is wrong with taking tough questions?

Does anyone really think there are bunches of “undecided” voters attending debates?
