John McCain in the continuing tit for tat web and television media war hits Romney again on foreign policy/terror.
Since McCain does not have the campaign resources to continue this war beyond New Hampshire (as of yet) he is looking for a win in New Hampshire and then hitting up the donors to run these web only ads in Michigan and South Carolina.
Romney will undoubtedly respond.

El Rushbo
speculates on a MSM plot to nominate Mike Huckabee to “destroy the Christian Right once and for all.”
Then, Rush goes on to bag against John McCain:
Rush hit McCain, saying “Would you think a conservative would support amnesty? Would you think a conservative would agree with the ACLU on interrogation techniques used on terrorists? Would you think a conservative would vote against the Bush tax cuts? I’ve just described the positions of John McCain.”
So, is Rush endorsing whoever is left?

More change in the next ten years than the previous 1,000?
Not…..
And, certainly NOT with Romney as President.

The latest web ad from the Romney campaign.
Flap somehow thinks that voters are tiring of Romney’s nasty and juvenile attacks.
How do you spell backfire?

Presidential hopeful Sen. John McCain R-Ariz., speaks at a town hall meeting at the VFW in Laconia, N.H., Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2008.
Two new polls show John McCain as the Comeback Kid:
Pew Research National GOP poll:
The graph is stark in demonstrating Rudy’s decline and McCain’s and Huckabee’s ascent; Romney was flat:

In another New Hampshire ONLY poll – Suffolk Tracking, John McCain has SURGED to a 9 point lead over second place Mitt Romney:
The polls are all over the place and poll taking during the Christmas and New Years holidays and over weekends is always dicey at best.
Stay tuned……

Presidential hopeful Sen. John McCain R-Ariz., pauses before an interview at the Tilt’n Diner in Tilton, N.H., Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2008.
John McCain is too old to be elected President. Plain and simple.
The Money Quote:
- “If I said I was running for eight years, I’m not sure that would be a vote getter.”
If elected, McCain would be the oldest President ever inaugurated – older than Reagan.
Flap could see a McCain – Giuliani ticket with Rudy ready to assume the Presidency at a moments notice should McCain falter. But, I would think it would be in the back of everyone’s mind when voting in the general election.
McCain is also a melanoma survivor. Age demographics do not portend well for him.
Sorry, but these are facts.

What a photo from Matt Drudge.
Flap has met Ed Rollins, Mike Huckabee’s campaign guy and he would not want to be in a bar fight with the fellow.
Remember he ran Reagan’s re-election campaign.
