Day By Day by Chris Muir

Fred Thompson’s third place showing in Iowa yesterday was weak after spending many days campaigning there.  Although Fred beat McCain, he is out of money and definitely out of energy.

Flap does not think Thompson enjoys campaigning and there is no “fire in his belly” for the Presidency.  Thompson might as well withdraw because he is on a road to nowhere.

If Fred says in the race through South Carolina he hurts Romney and assists a Huckabee win. McCain and Romney both would LOVE to see him leave and leave the race fast.
