If Ron Paul can raise millions why can’t Giuliani supporters nationwide? This is not a solicitation by the Rudy Giuliani Presidential Campaign Committee but an independent grassroots effort by supporters.

Give what you can and give often.

Flap knows you will be glad you did.

Mitt Romney Clashes With AP Reporter Over Lobbyist Campaign Adviser

Republican presidential hopeful, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, right, hands an easy button to his press secretary Eric Fehrnstrom during a media availability at a Staples store in Columbia, S.C., Thursday, Jan. 17, 2008.

Mitt Romney shows his nasty side (remember those anti-Huckabee Iowa ads) along with his press secretary in this just released video here over at CBS. In the video, an argument ensues between Romney and AP reporter Glen Johnson.

Remember Mitt the old adage about picking fights with folks that buy ink by the barrel?

As the facts turn out both John McCain and Mitt Romney have former or current lobbyists in senior positions in their campaigns.

New Rudy Giuliani Television Ad Quotes Mitt Romney

    Rudy Giuliani Television Ad, “Quotes”

    The Script for “Quotes:”

Chyron: “Rudy Giuliani is ‘the most successful tax cutter in the Republican field today’”

Chryon: “Grover Norquist, America’s Leading Tax Fighter”

Chyron: “Rudy Giuliani’s record is ‘the most successful episode of conservative governance in the past 50 years.’”

    Chyron: “George Will, Conservative Columnist”

Chyron: “‘It’s time for the rest of the country to benefit from a true fiscal conservative who gets results like Giuliani.’”

Chyron: “Steve Forbes, American Tax Fighter”

Chyron: “Rudy Giuliani is more accomplished at cutting taxes than anyone else.”

Chryon: “Pat Toomey – Fox News 10/17/07 Club for Growth”

Chyron: “Giuliani tax cut plan … the biggest in history.”

    Chryon: “Americans for Tax Reform.”

Chyron: “Mayor Giuliani has a great record of cutting taxes”

    Chyron: “Mitt Romney”

Mayor Giuliani: “I’m Rudy Giuliani and I approved this message.”

    **********

So, is Mitt Romney now supporting the Mayor?

A great ad and an opening salvo against Romney. Chris Cillizza calls the ad a “HIT.” Flap definitely thinks that the Mayor is willing to go toe to toe with Romney.

By the way, Giuliani supporters go here and send Rudy a few bucks for airing this ad in Super Tuesday states, like California where the media is expensive.

    Hillary Clinton Watch: The End?

Bill Clinton becomes angry over questions regarding a lawsuit by Clinton backers to reduce the number of caucus sites in Nevada.

Is this meltdown by former President Bill Clinton the beginning of the end of Hillary’s campaign for the Presidency?

The end, certainly, of her chances to win Nevada.

    Update:

A Nevada federal judge upheld the ability of the Nevada Democratic Party to have caucus sites located inside Las Vegas Strip casinos.

This will undoubtedly benefit Barack Obama who has been endorsed by these workers’ union.

Rudy Giuliani Watch: Getting Into the Game in Florida

Steve Forbes talks with Larry King about Rudy’s strong support in Florida and the popularity of Giuliani’s plan to enact the largest tax cut in American history.

When Rudy announced his Florida and February 5 Super Duper Tuesday strategy, the pundits panned the plan. Now, after the scramble in the GOP race with no front runner, others are taking a second look.

Giuliani’s star dimmed during the first half of January, not because he committed a gaffe but because he made himself irrelevant. When he becomes relevant at the end of January, both voters and the national media will once again turn to Rudy, and that’s when he’ll have his shot.

With this strategy Is Rudy a MAD GENIUS?

If he wins in Florida, where he’s essentially been living, basking in the warm sunshine and building up his firewall, while his rivals have frozen their asses off in Iowa and New Hampshire, he will be in the catbird seat. Indeed, you could even argue that, despite having won nothing thus far, Giuliani is now the GOP front-runner again, albeit by default. Bizarre? Incomprehensible? Perverse? No doubt. But what better words to describe the man himself and the party he seeks to lead?

Flap compares this strategy to Muhammad Ali’s Rope A Dope against George Foreman.

Ali recovered from the early blows by George Foreman and knocked him out in the 8th round.

    Ali DID defeat Foreman.

Rudy CAN do the same to the GOP field.

Rudy Giuliani Watch: Rudy at Veterans Memorial

Mayor Rudy Giuliani makes remarks at the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial on January 15, 2008.

Flap was not going to post this out of respect for the parents of the slain Iraq War veterans, but has decided after a viewing the video again that it should be shown.

Say what you want about Rudy’s personal life or your disagreement with him on various issues, but you cannot say this man is not a class act.

Watch as the Mayor turns over the podium and reacts to the parent’s speeches – a moving moment. And, how he reacts to the ass hat protester.
