Hillary Clinton Watch: Sniper Fire in Bosnia – OOPS I Mean Singing in Bosnia with the USO

CBS news exposes the real story of Hillary Clinton’s 1996 trip to Bosnia.
Sniper fire indeed.
And, who would dare compare alyingmisspeaking Hillary Clinton to the POW McCain?Obama has Jeremiah Wright and all of the associated baggage. Now, Hillary is caught in an outright fabrication.
Hillary Rodham Clinton’s campaign said she “misspoke” last week when saying she had landed under sniper fire during a trip to Bosnia as first lady in March 1996.
The Obama campaign suggested it was a deliberate exaggeration by Clinton, who often cites the goodwill trip with her daughter and several celebrities as an example of her foreign policy experience.
During a speech last Monday on Iraq, she said of the Bosnia trip: “I remember landing under sniper fire. There was supposed to be some kind of a greeting ceremony at the airport, but instead we just ran with our heads down to get into the vehicles to get to our base.”
According to an Associated Press story at the time, Clinton was placed under no extraordinary risks on that trip. And one of her companions, comedian Sinbad, told The Washington Post he has no recollection either of the threat or reality of gunfire.
No wonder John McCain has been seen smiling the past few days.

The Clinton Cabal in Meltdown Mode?

Hillary Clinton supporter James Carville compares Gov. Bill Richardson to Judas Iscariot
And, today James Carville, member of the Clinton Cabal, remains unapologetic of his characterization of New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson as a traitor of the son of God because Richardson endorsed Barack Obama for President.
Clinton campaign adviser James Carville said Monday that he stood behind his controversial weekend comment that compared Bill Richardson’s decision to back Barack Obama to the betrayal of Jesus by Judas – a statement the New Mexico governor termed “gutter tactics.”
“He quoted me accurately and in context,” Bill Clinton’s 1992 campaign manager told Wolf Blitzer on CNN’s The Situation Room. “I think the statement had the desired effect. It was what I said.”
Carville, a former Clinton White House adviser told the New York Times Saturday that Richardson’s endorsement “came right around the anniversary of the day when Judas sold out for 30 pieces of silver, so I think the timing is appropriate, if ironic.”

Hillary’s campaign is behind and in meltdown. Can the Democrat Party take much more of this train wreck of daily back and forth mud balls between Obama and Hillary?
Who will step in to mediate this dysfunctional feud? Is there anyone?

Hillary Clinton Watch: Winning in the Electoral College
Sen. Evan Bayh, D-Ind., right, speaks to the crowd at Anderson High School’s gymnasium Thursday, March 20, 2008 as he and Democratic presidential hopeful, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y., campaign in Anderson, Ind.
With the deepening Democrat Party dilemma with Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, Hillary has resorted to an argument of electability of her candidacy in the Electoral College.
Senator Evan Bayh of Indiana, who backs Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton for president, proposed another gauge Sunday by which superdelegates might judge whether to support Mrs. Clinton or Senator Barack Obama.
He suggested that they consider the electoral votes of the states that each of them has won.
“So who carried the states with the most Electoral College votes is an important factor to consider because ultimately, that’s how we choose the president of the United States,†Mr. Bayh said on CNN’s “Late Edition.â€
In a primary, of course, electoral votes are not relevant, but the Clinton campaign is trying to use them as an unofficial measure of strength.
So far, Mrs. Clinton has won states with a total of 219 Electoral College votes, not counting Florida and Michigan, while Mr. Obama has won states with a total of 202 electoral votes.
Hillary Clinton will do ANYTHING to steal the Democrat nomination from Barack Obama who has won the most elected delegates and the popular vote.
Hence, comes the Electoral College argument for HER candidacy.
The Electoral College argument can be used AGAINST Barack Obama and HIS electability in the general election.
Flap doubts Obama will be able to win ANY of the Bush/Cheney 2004 red states and head to head polls show him already trailing John McCain in Ohio and Pennsylvania.
Game over in the Electoral College.
Does Hillary have a point since she fairs better in the polls against McCain in Bush/Cheney red states and in large electoral college vote states like California than Obama? Flap thinks so.
But, will the Democrats nominate her?
By the way, Evan Byah will be Hillary’s choice for Vice President should she be successful against Obama. She will need him to win Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota, Nevada and Ohio.
Stay tuned…….

The Democrats have effectively parlayed race into consituency race divided politics. Wasn’t Bill Clinton the first “BLACK” President?
