Thursday, June 12-Miami, Florida-My wife and I have been longtime Democrats, but this is the first time in recent memory that we have considered crossing over to the Republican side in November. We don;t like either one of the presidential candidates. We feel that both Barack Obama and John McCain are wrong for this country. Obama is a bum and so is McCain. But, we would be willing to vote for McCain if he chose a vice-president that we could live with. Our favorite choice is Mike Huckabee, someone who appears to be genuinely honest and likable. We realize that Huckabee is trailing in the V.P. Sweepstakes and is unlikely to get picked by McCain. But, for us and for many former Hillary Clinton supporters, a McCain-Huckabee ticket would be just the thing to get us to make the switch. Otherwise, we will simply stay home and not vote in the general election.
