Iran Nuclear Watch: Israel Issues Another Warning

Another warning from Israel today re: Iran’s development of nuclear weapons.
An Israeli deputy prime minister on Friday warned that Iran would face attack if it pursues what he said was its nuclear weapons programme.
“If Iran continues its nuclear weapons programme, we will attack it,” said Shaul Mofaz, who is also transportation minister.
“Other options are disappearing. The sanctions are not effective. There will be no alternative but to attack Iran in order to stop the Iranian nuclear programme,” Mofaz told the Yediot Aharonot daily.
He stressed such an operation could only be conducted with US support.
A former defence minister and armed forces chief of staff, Mofaz hopes to replace embattled Ehud Olmert as prime minister and at the helm of the Kadima party.
Flap cannot help but think that the rise of Barack Obama as the Democrat Presidential nominee is driving Israel to pursuing action while George W. Bush is President. Obama is an unknown and has stated he would meet with Iran’s President Ahmadinejad without preconditions.
In the meanime, the uranium enrichment centrifuges at Natanz continue to spin.

why can israel have nuclear capabilities and iran cannot. especially if you look at israels past for invading and annexing arab land. i haven’t seen iran dehave as bad as israel. israel wants to be the only superpower of the region and doesn’t want anyone else having the same military power. iran should annouse it would suspend it nuclear weapons program if israel will and shine the light on israel who illegally made nuclear weapons, yet nothing is said about this in the UN.iran has as much right to nuclear weapon as anyone else.what we need to do is ban ALL nuclear weapons total.

Why can Israel and not Iran possess nuclear weapons?
Iran is a terrorist nation which exports terror and Israel is and does not.
Israel is a small country and has a historical need to defend itself. One Holocaust too many for the Jews and they nor the world will not tolerate another genocide.
Iran desires Shiite hegemony over its Sunni Arab neighbors and if Iran obtains nukes than the Sunnis will obtain them too. More nuclear proliferation is a bad thing.
Iran does NOT need nukes to defend itself from Israel or its neighbors.

i’m not a agent for the mullas, just a aussie who knows modern middle east history not the propoganda peddled in israel and the west.
human rights groups have been documenting israels crimes against the palestinians for decades. israel has been very successful in hiding its brutal policies in the occupied territories.but you don’t have to look far to see israels terror. when israel drops a one ton bomb on a civilian neighbourhood killing scores of children to assasinate one terrorist/freedom fighter ,that is terror. terrorism has lost all meaning due to the zionist misuse of the word.nowdays when you talk of terrorist you naturally associate a arab bad guy. yet the arabs are yet to match the jews when it comes to terror in the middle east, it was the zionist who first introduced terrorism to the holy lands and succeeded in dividing palestine and creating israel by ethnic cleansing nearly one million palestinians and making them refuggees never to have their homland again. israel war of independance was one big population transfer opporation. when a palestinian suicide bomber blows himself and a number of innocent civilians up ,this is terror. also terrorism but not reported as terrorism is when a deranged illegal jewish settler strorms into a mosque a shoots ten muslims. both examples show terrorism, pure and simple. the collective punishment the israelis infict on a defenceless palestinians population is ongoing since 1948 and is a form of terror and highly illegal according to international war. there are plenty of examples of israeli terror starting from the ethnic cleansing of over 800 thousand palestinian in 1948 to firering a hellfire missles into a civilian ambalance in 2006 in lebanon.

the CIAs own report in 2008 stated that iran has suspended all its nuclear weapons research. and thats how it remains- suspended ,stop, not a threat. but for some reason the issue resurfaces and gets more serious. for some reason iran has restarted its nuclear weapons progamme according to reports but there is no convincing proof. shades of WMD hyseria which got the west mixed up in a illegal war in iraq.there is in my opinion a massive propoganda drive to demonise the iranian and to somehow weaken it. if i’m right the israeli are up to their necks in it and the spin is coming from them just like theWMD intell originated from isreal. israel would love it if USA bombs and destroyed iran.

Better read the latest IAEA reports about Iran’s nuclear program. Iran does not need to enrich their own uranium for nuclear power plants. But, they continue.
Why?
To develop a nuclear bomb to wipe Israel off the map.

CIA report states iran suspended its nuclear weapons program. sound to me like another weapons of mass destruction baloney. iran isn’t seeking to create nukes unless it has too. and if iran was close to having nukes israel would of attacked along time ago. israel is manupulating the facts so the USA attacks iran and fights a war in which USA soilders die not israeli ,just like iraq. let me be blunt, israel is trying to change the whole of the middle east, and is using USA to do it and before G.W.Bush leaves office. If Iran is so bothered by world’s inquiry over their uranium enrichment program why do they not halt enrichment for a few weeks and allow the IAEA access for a full inspection?

why doesn’t the IAEA inpect israels nuclear program. cause israel refuses. the IAEA is a organisation easily manipulated and i do not blame the iranians after seeing the fiasco the IAEA did in iraq. why should iran have to comply to the IAEA and israel does not. israels nukes are illegal according to international law but nothing it said. two set of rules for the middle east- one for the arabs and another for the israelis. a good example is when israel tried to annex jeruselim and the goland heights the UN didn’t recognize it and pass a UN resolution stating israels claim ‘null and void’. same as when iraq tried to annex kuwait the UN didn’t recognize it and passed a UN resolution stating iraqs claim ‘null and void’.. but the USA insisted iraq must withdraw and the UN resolution must be inforced but with the goland heights and jeruselim the USA did nothing. double standards. plus we all know USA middle east policies are created in israel and are israeli in origin-how USA can call itself a peace partner is a joke.
