captc3d0cdc4a0564180966cl2 Barack Obama Watch: Channeling Hillarys Health Care Plan?

Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., hugs Pamela Cash-Roper after she spoke at his economy speech, Monday, June 9, 2008, at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds in Raleigh, N.C. Roper, a lifelong Republican, told the crowd that she and her husband are struggling because of medical problems, losing their jobs and the high price of gas and prescription drugs.

Barack Obama has been accused of flipping on his Iran policy and now is he adopting Hillary Clinton’s health care plan with Elizabeth Edwards as the spokeswoman?

Obama’s speech in Raleigh launching his economy tour is underway, and towards the end, during a discussion of health care, he drops a surprise aside that wasn’t in the speech’s prepared remarks:

“By the way, I’m going to be partnering with Elizabeth Edwards, we’re going to be figuring all this out.”

As you recall, Elizabeth Edwards was critical of Obama’s plan a few months ago.

Edwards said she believed Clinton’s health-care plan was more inclusive than that of Obama’s.

“You need that universality in order to get the cost savings. … I just have more confidence in Sen. Clinton’s policy than Sen. Obama’s on this particular issue,” she said.

So, who is flipping here?

1. Barack Obama

2. Elizabeth Edwards

3. All of the above

obamaandfatherui2 Barack Obama Watch: Release the Birth Certificate

Much of his convention speech, and the subject of his 1995 memoir “Dreams From My Father,” focused on his diverse family. Born in Hawaii on Aug. 4, 1961, Obama was the son of a mother from Kansas and a father from Kenya who left to study economics at Harvard, and then returned to Kenya, seeing his son just once afterwards. Obama was raised by his mother’s parents. In 2006, he visited his father’s mother in Kenya.

Since Team Obama hounded Cindy McCain to release her tax returns at the very least Team Obama should be willing to release Barack’s Hawaii birth certificate. They are not public in Hawaii.

And, he could place these rumors to rest:

  • Obama was born in Kenya and not a “natural born citizen” as the US. Constitution requires for the Presidency
  • Obama’s middle name is not “Hussein” but “Muhammad”
  • Is his REAL name Barack or Barry?

In all honesty, releasing and publicly disclosing a certified copy of your birth certificate should be routine when running for the Presidency.

Why the delay?

There REALLY is no excuse.

2bushliedps9zw6 Bush Lied and People Died Well Not So Fast

From a Cindy Sheehan Rally

The mantra from the Anti-War LEFT has been Bush Lied and People Died. But, did President Bush lie?

Sen. John D. Rockefeller IV (D-W.Va.), chairman of the Select Committee on Intelligence, set out to provide the official foundation for what has become not only a thriving business but, more important, an article of faith among millions of Americans. And in releasing a committee report Thursday, he claimed to have accomplished his mission, though he did not use the L-word.

“In making the case for war, the administration repeatedly presented intelligence as fact when it was unsubstantiated, contradicted or even nonexistent,” he said.

There’s no question that the administration, and particularly Vice President Cheney, spoke with too much certainty at times and failed to anticipate or prepare the American people for the enormous undertaking in Iraq.

Key graphs from Senator Rockefeller’s report:

  • On Iraq’s nuclear weapons program? The president’s statements “were generally substantiated by intelligence community estimates.”
  • On biological weapons, production capability and those infamous mobile laboratories? The president’s statements “were substantiated by intelligence information.”
  • On chemical weapons, then? “Substantiated by intelligence information.”
  • On weapons of mass destruction overall (a separate section of the intelligence committee report)? “Generally substantiated by intelligence information.” Delivery vehicles such as ballistic missiles? “Generally substantiated by available intelligence.” Unmanned aerial vehicles that could be used to deliver WMDs? “Generally substantiated by intelligence information.”
  • But statements regarding Iraq’s support for terrorist groups other than al-Qaeda “were substantiated by intelligence information.” Statements that Iraq provided safe haven for Abu Musab al-Zarqawi and other terrorists with ties to al-Qaeda “were substantiated by the intelligence assessments,” and statements regarding Iraq’s contacts with al-Qaeda “were substantiated by intelligence information.”

So, Democrat Senator Jay Rockefeller’s report essentially vindicates President Bush as to the LIED part. But, why does the LEFT and Democrat politicians continue to use the mantra?

Why, for partisan political advantage – as they have all along.

2565063216 fb404d0158 o Barack Obama Watch: The Messiah

The Ryskind Sketchbook on Barack Obama

Jim Geraghty on Barack Obama – “Magic,” “Lightbringer,” “Messiah”

Flap’s favorite graph:

“What Barack Obama has accomplished is the single most extraordinary event that has occurred in the 232 years of the nation’s political history. … The event itself is so extraordinary that another chapter could be added to the Bible to chronicle its significance.”— Rep. Jesse Jackson, Jr. on Obama’s winning the Democratic presidential nomination.

Good grief.

Obama is a left wing, Harvard Law Senator/attorney from Chicago.

That is all……..

toon060908qe2 Hillary Clinton Watch: $109,823 Per Delegate

Michael Ramirez on Hillary Clinton

Michael Penn, a chief strategist for Team Hillary wrote yesterday that the campaign was about money and Flap said it wasn’t.

And, it isn’t.

Eighteen million votes: $212 million. Some 1,926 delegates: $109,823 a pop. Blowing the biggest head start in presidential history: priceless.

From anointed to also-ran, Hillary Clinton spent more money to lose a primary election than any candidate in Democratic Party history.

That is alot of scratch…….

elerctionprojectionjunege1 Election Projection Watch: Obama Leads McCain 304 234

Graphic courtesy of Election Projection

In the first week of the general election Presidential race where do the candidates stand?

  • Barack Obama – 304 Electoral Votes
  • John McCain – 234 Electoral Votes

270 Votes wins the Presidency

The battleground states are clear. Should John McCain win Michigan (17 Electoral Votes) and Ohio (20 Electoral Votes) on the map above he wins 271 Electoral Votes and is the next President of the United States.

Flap thinks McCain will be campaigning in Ohio, Michigan and Pennsylvania where Hillary Clinton beat Obama, especially with white working class voters the majority of the time. And, this may be an indication as to why McCain chooses Mitt Romney as his Vice President – Michigan.

Stay tuned…….
