If you look at the Swiftboat analogy, President Bush was in position to challenge Kerry on military service, but that's what they did. They went after Kerry's Vietnam record. I remember reading that Karl Rove's strategy was to attack the opponent's strong points. That's what team Obama is doing, and McCain better step up and start fighting against this thing before it becomes conventional wisdom that his military experience has no relevance to his bid for the Presidency.
