The problem John McCain has in his run for the Presidency is that Barack Obama wants to be President.

John McCain on the 4th of July is sequestered at his Arizona ranch after jetting in from Mexico yesterday while Barack Obama is campaigning in red state Montana pressing the flesh.

The McCain campaign needs more than a new strategy. They need to get McCain out on the trail and act like he wants to be President. McCain needs to fight for the right to be President.

And the pundits wonder why many conservatives are less than enthusiastic about the McCain candidacy?
