Hillary Clinton for Obama’s Vice President?
Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama at last year’s Democrat Presidential debate in South Carolina
There has been some recent speculation that Team Obama is faking the media into believing Hillary Clinton will NOT be Barack’s choice as Vice President.Nope……
All of the Clinton haters would stir up the RIGHT and motivate the GOP base. Besides the Clinton Cabal views an Obama loss as more favorable than serving as VP for eight years.
Flap is favoring Bill Richardson again if Evan Byah and his association with Mark Penn is deemed a disqualifier. But, with the latest Electoral Colege projection polls Byah would be the likely choice because of political matchups in the key battleground states.

Barack Obama Watch: No Role for General Wesley Clark in Denver
Gary Varvel, The Indianapolis Star
Barack Obama has cut General Wesley Clark loose.General Wesley Clark is not attending the Democratic National Convention. I was told by General Clark’s personal office in Little Rock that he would not be attending.
Clark was informed by Barack Obama’s people that there was no reason to come.
General Clark has been given no role of any kind at the convention.
Rubbing salt in the wound even more, the “theme” of Wednesday’s Democratic convention agenda is “Securing America.”
Wesley Clark’s PAC also happens to be called SECURING AMERICA.
After Clark’s misstep in July he has become expendable. Oh Well…….

Howard Dean Calls the GOP – A “WHITE” Party
Howard Dean, Chairman of the Democrat National Committee – “If you look at folks of color, even women, they’re more successful in the Democratic party than they are in the white, uh, excuse me, in the [laughs] Republican party.”Carly Fiorina, chairwoman of the Republican National Committee’s Victory 2008 campaign and prominent supporter of John McCain responded to Howard Dean’s comments:“It is disappointing to see Howard Dean trying to use gender and race to divide voters,” Fiorina said Friday evening in a statement released by the McCain campaign. “His comments are insulting, inappropriate and have no place in this election.â€
But, Howard Dean and the Democrats have made race an important issue with their recruitment of African American voters to support Barack Obama.
Ceratainly with a ninety per cent plus lock of African American voters historically voting for the Democrats, Howard Dean simply misspoke and should have said his party was the “BLACK” party.
Sad to say Presidential politicis has broken down to race, religion, gender and national origin, but it has.

Serving the first course in what a leading GOP strategist predicts will be a "smorgasbord" of special-interest spending, a political group funded mostly by insurance companies has launched a television commercial attacking Democratic 19th Senate District candidate Hannah-Beth Jackson.

The review found that Edwards' political action committee went to unusual lengths to make a final $14,000 payment to Hunter's film company months after its contract with the committee had ended. The payment was issued while the committee was short on cash and could pay its bills only after receiving thousands of dollars from Edwards' presidential campaign and donations from four people, including Baron's wife.

Ukraine wants to enter NATO but our European allies, led by Germany, are so dependent on Russian gas that they are reluctant to antagonize the bear. Until now, the case of expanding NATO’s protection to Ukraine has been hypothetical, based on fear of Russian intentions. But by breaking the civilized rules of national conduct, Russia has demonstrated the folly of leaving smaller democracies exposed on its border.

For the last several days, Senator Barack Obama has seemed to fade from the scene while on his secluded vacation here, as his opponent, Senator John McCain, has seized nearly every opportunity to display his foreign policy credentials on the dominant issue of the week: the conflict between Russia and Georgia.
