Barack Obama Watch: It is Bayh?
+++++Update+++++MSNBC says Tim Kaine and Evan Byah have been informed that they have not been chosen. Fox News is stocking the home of Senator Joe Biden where there has been some activity. Likely scenario is a text message at 12:01 AM and then Biden leaves home and flies to Springfield, Illinois.
But, stay tuned…….
This would be the “SAFE” choice. But, can Obama tolerate Mark Penn and Hillary looking over Bayh’s shoulder?KMBC’s Micheal Mahoney reports a company in Kansas City, which specializes in political literature, has been printing Obama-Bayh material… MORE… Gill Studios, would not confirm information about the material. They would not deny it either. At least three sources close to the plant’s operations reported the Obama-Bayh material was being produced…
Remember earlier in the week about preparations in Indiana? And, where is Obama today? Right next door in Illinois.
Stay tuned……..

Flap and Big Brother 10 Live Show
Flap attending the “LIVE” Big Brother 10 Show on August 21, 2008
Yes, Flap is a Big Brother addict and has been watching the show for years. A few weeks ago a Twitter came across Twhirl from Dingo’s Hamster Watch (Follow Dingo on Twitter here) informing Flap that “LIVE” show tickets were available for a few future shows.Flap jumped and secured four tickets for last night’s show.
What a blast!
Flap, Mrs. Flap and our friend and fellow BB10 addict Stacey joined us. Yes, one ticket was wasted but everyone that showed up was admitted so our waste was another addict’s gain.
Here is a close-up photo from my computer room Sony LCD in High Def
The screen capture from CBS.com
The producers and staff were great to all of us Hamster Watchers. Flap was thrilled when the voice of Big Brother was revealed. The stage manager EK or Eric was right – we all made great TV.Flap is watching Twitter for any openings for the remaining shows which are all sold out.
The chances?
Doubtful……but there is next season……

A blogger's African dad came here on the same airlift as Obama's dad. All similarities end there

Second, Team Obama went after McCain on a "questionable association," opening up the door to discuss William Ayers.
Third, Team Obama went after McCain on his houses… so yes, it was the Obama campaign who was the first to raise the issue of candidate house purchases. Indeed, none of McCain's houses have been purchased with a longtime political associate convicted of six counts of wire fraud, six counts of mail fraud, two counts of corrupt solicitation, and two counts of money laundering.

As a Ventura County resident and parent of two young children, I am firmly opposed to the planned conversion of the Ventura Youth Correctional Facility near Camarillo into a 1,500-bed prison hospital for level 3 and level 4 prisoners. These convicts may not have committed the worst crimes, but have exhibited the most violent behaviors while in prison and are the most problematic to correction officers.

A new RGJ/KTVN Channel 2 poll being released today shows Nevada continues to be a true toss-up in the presidential race. In the poll of 600 likely Nevada voters, 44 percent favor U.S. Sen. Barack Obama and 43 percent favor U.S. Sen. John McCain.

A Republican presidential candidate hasn't won in Minnesota since 1972. But Jacobs said the poll found McCain might be able to reverse that trend, if he selects Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty as his vice presidential running mate. One in four of the undecided voters and initial-Obama supporters said they'd back a McCain-Pawlenty ticket.
"We were quite impressed by the impact that Gov. Pawlenty has on McCain's chances," he said. "Our analysis suggests that the McCain ticket jumps by 13 points by adding Gov. Pawlenty to the ticket. That is quite an impact."

Why Biden Would Be Bad: There's a bit of C-SPAN tape that should surface quickly if he's named. … Remember, it wasn't Biden's plagiarism that knocked him out of the 1988 race. It was "''I think I have a much higher I.Q. than you do.'' … [you got better?–ed Zinni!] … [via Brothers Judd]

I realize the McCain campaign wants to separate itself from President Bush, but unless they want their running mate appearing in DNC ads echoing Obama's talking points, I think they have to choose a different running mate.
