Bill Clinton Undercuts Barack Obama – AGAIN

billclintonjune7

Chelsea Clinton sits with her father, former US President Bill Clinton, as they listen to US Democratic presidential candidate Senator Hillary Clinton (D-NY) speak at the National Building Museum in Washington June 7, 2008. Clinton endorsed presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Senator Barack Obama (D-IL) to be the Democratic U.S. presidential candidate on Saturday and suspended her own White House bid less than a week after the Illinois senator secured enough support to win the nomination.

Bill Clinton, now in Denver, has undercut Barack Obama again.

The former president, speaking in Denver, posed a hypothetical question in which he seemed to suggest that that the Democratic Party was making a mistake in choosing Obama as its presidential nominee.

He said: “Suppose you’re a voter, and you’ve got candidate X and candidate Y. Candidate X agrees with you on everything, but you don’t think that candidate can deliver on anything at all. Candidate Y you agree with on about half the issues, but he can deliver. Which candidate are you going to vote for?”

Then, perhaps mindful of how his off-the-cuff remarks might be taken, Clinton added after a pause: “This has nothing to do with what’s going on now.”

Yeah, right!

They do not refer to the former President as Slick Willie for nuthin’.

Hillary addresses the convention tonight and the former President tomorrow.

Interesting theater as the Clinton Cabal quietly undermines the Obama candidacy while he continues to sink in the polls.

If he had said “Candidate Y you agree with on about half the issues, but she can deliver’, instead of “he” can deliver, then the sh** would really have hit the fan.
