Sarah Palin Watch: Florida Democrats Slam Palin As Dangerous Right-Winger

From the Press Release e-mailed from a little bird:

Florida Democrats Florida Democrats

Dear Friends,

John McCain rolled the dice with his VP pick today – in an attempt to woo women voters.

But we cannot gamble with women’s lives.

Don’t let your friends, family and co-workers be fooled: Alaskan Sarah Palin is a dangerous right-winger who lacks the judgment to lead.

In 2000, Palin endorsed Pat Buchanan for President. Yes, that Pat Buchanan.

In 2006, Palin ran for Alaska Governor on a message of change – and then turned out to be just another corrupt Alaska politician who’s now under investigation in her own state.

She’s no Hillary Clinton. She’s Dan Quayle in a dress.

Women voters who care about equal rights, choice, family and other issues, will not see a partner in Palin.

Help us fight for these issues by electing Democrats up and down the ticket. Click here to donate today:

She is lockstep with Bush and McCain on issues important to women. Every one of them. That’s scary.

The corrupt trio of Ted Stevens, Don Young, and Lisa Murkowski all raised campaign money for Palin.

John McCain claimed that Barack Obama lacked experience. Then he picked a VP who has just 20 months at the helm of a state with a population smaller than the city of Jacksonville, and zero foreign policy experience. Palin would be a heartbeat away from the presidency.

Barack Obama is ready to lead. Last night he showed us what the next American President will look like. He and Joe Biden will deliver change we need.

The stakes are too high to risk another four years of the same. If you have $25, $50 or $100 to spare, please contribute today to the Florida Democratic Party’s campaign to elect Democrats up and down the ballot. We’re on the verge of major change in Florida, but we need your help.

Contribute today.

Sincerely,

Congresswoman Karen L. Thurman
Chair, Florida Democratic Party

Does anyone think these arguments will fly?

First, I never remember Pat Buchanan bombing the United States Capitol or saying God Damn America, now did he?

And, besides, Flap was a Team Buchanan member in 1992 and running for President in the GOP.

The Florida Democrats think what about Tony Rezko, a convicted federal felon raising money for Obama?

Stay tuned……

And they will fail……miserably. Rush said today on his radio program, ‘Sarah Palin: Babies, guns, Jesus. Hot damn!!’ And he was right!

As a military member residing in Alaska with a child old enough to enter kindergarten in most states and a wife whom has worked in education for the state of Alaska, Sarah Palin is not the candidate you wish to support if education is high on your list of priorities. Schools in her state (specifically the Fairbanks area, interior Alaska) are not in accordance with the “No Child Left Behind” Act of 2001 signed into law by President Bush. They lack Special Education teachers and tutors for special needs students and students behind the learning curve on the suggested curriculum. Alaska does not fund its schools using state taxes. Rather, it uses federal income tax to fund its schools. Alaska schools refuse to become Title I schools. Title I schools are those schools required under the “No Child Left Behind” Act of 2001 to provide supplemental instruction to students that are special needs or falling behind in their curriculum. The state of Alaska, under Governor Palin, has cut the aforementioned programs that the federal money was intended to provide for by labeling these students other than special needs in the areas stated and not classifying as Title I. In doing so the State of Alaska, under Governor Palin, deceptively has accepted federal money for services not rendered, while continuing the permanent dividend fund. She is quite a reformer indeed. This is quite a disturbing revelation considered she has mothered a special needs child.

Your story is not consistent with the facts.

Another lefty trying to talk education speak.

Your wife obviously is not a teacher.

Tulipgirl–No, most don’t. Most do believe, however, that Sarah Palin is just as much a skewer of the truth as any other politician. There are some facts that simply cannot be blamed on the media. Things you can check yourself. And please do! You don’t have to rely on someone else–me, the bias media, anyone–for the truth.

She did initially support and eventually take money for the bridge to nowhere.

She did add tax to food to build a sports complex (leaving the town in debt) when she was mayor.

    She did hire lobbyists.

She did get A LOT (way higher than the American average) of earmarks for her town.

These really are things she lied about in her speech.

Is she less honest than Obama? Doubtful. But, please, don’t encourage politicians of either party to treat you as if you’re not bright enough to find out the truth for yoursef. We’re Americans. We deserve better than that.

Hey dems wake up and smell the coffee before its toooo late! Ask your Presidental canidate what was his roll in the recent fall of FANNY MAE and FREDDIE MAC! Ask him if you can (OR if he will let you.) You see Obama was the second highest paid lawyer by Fanny Mae, to turn his back , while they rob people of their money. If you think that hasn’t got anything to do with you…just wait! HELLS A COMING!

  • sassinfras

‘believer’your way off the mark. if you blame obama for the fanny and freedy collaspes then you must blame him for leaman brothers and AIG,bear stearns, etc, etc. and if you think hell is coming you obviously haven’t taken a look at the last eight years.

  • believer

Hey Sassinfras…why listen to me? Check it out for yourself, I mean we are still a free country aren’t we. Or are you scared of what you might find?

  • sassinfras

i have checked it out and i’m not scared at all. what i can not understand is how you link the fannie mae crisis to barack obama and the democrats. were they responsible for all the other corporate crashes, because they are all linked.. it has everything to do with deregulation and milton friedman policies which the republicans have embraced starting with ronald reagan, bush 1&2,john mccain and even some democrats. the question you must ask is how the government let the banks and US corporate sector operate in such a risky environment , where were the safeguards. answer, the bank etc became self regulating with no government oversight. and who started this process -ronald reagan.
and who co sponsered the bill to deregulate the banks so they could get into sub-prime loans- your truely john mccain.

  • It's time to take a stand!

Its time for all of us to contack your Congressman or Senator and say no to the bail out. We as tax payers and who did not over extend ourselfs in housing debts, and aren’t being paid big bucks to bail out big corp. leaders for making bad decisions….NEED to voice our opinions now! Are we are looking at another 20 years of belly-ach, be a republican or a Democrat. And By no means should Christopher Dodd One of the highest paid lawyers (paid by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac ) be writing the bill. We are being rob! We need to make a stand.

Wow. You two (McCain and Palin) are really desperate. A US senator connected to terrorism. HaHaHaHaHa… Too funny.

Golly Gee Wilikers! Wink Wink Wink! Keep riding that psychotic horse towards that burning stable. Soooo Sarah… Loved the Aerial Gunning of Wolves Video! You’re the terrorist. You really are an unmoral woman.

Obama should put you in jail for slander.

How do you spell desperate? I spell it MCCAIN/PALIN

Go home and ban some more books and charge victims for their rape kits. You’ve got enough problems there with your extremely high crime rate. Leave the country to those who know what they’re doing.

After the terrorist remark and video I saw, I wouldn’t vote for you two NOW if you were the only ones running.

Only Glorious Socialism can saves us, eh, Sass? I won’t disturb the electrons to demonstrate to you that the Eville Bushco McChimpy was calling for examination of Freddie and Fannie and the incredibly gifted finanial guru, Franklin Raines’ impeccable accounting practices. Tell us, if you can, why it is that the Truly Enlightened have such a hard time with facts? We’ll be waiting for your reply next week. Same Bat time, same Bat Channel!
