Hillary Clinton at Democrat Convention

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y., right, and her daughter, Chelsea, arrive in the stands before her husband, former President Bill Clinton, speaks at the Democratic National Convention in Denver, Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2008

Hillary Clinton rebuffed (and not even vetted for the Vice Presidency) by Barack Obama at the Denver Democrat convention congratulated Alaska Republican Governor Sarah Palin for her selection as John McCain’s Vice Presidential running mate yesterday.

“We should all be proud of Governor Sarah Palin’s historic nomination, and I congratulate her and Senator McCain,” Clinton, the first woman to win a presidential primary, said in the statement. “While their policies would take America in the wrong direction, Governor Palin will add an important new voice to the debate.”

Hillary’s congrats although back handed in a way were far different than Team Obama’s inital reactions which were harsh, negative and made no mention of the historic nature of Sarah Palin’s selection.

The initial polling is favorable for Palin as the GOP attempts to pick off disaffected Hillary Clinton Democrats and independent female voters.

Palin is now viewed favorably by 48% of women. That figure includes 80% of Republican women, 23% of Democratic women, and 61% of women not affiliated with either major party.

Anyone want to bet whether the Clinton Cabal will be supporting McCain - Palin? When the Obama and left-wing attacks begin on Palin look for Clinton supporters in the media to suddenly appear.

Day By Day by Chris Muir

Barack Obama is a typical Chicago pol with one exception - no experience. So, is Bill Clinton right when he calls Obama a Chicago THUG?

Let Obama’s association with William Ayers, the radical bomber and Tony Rezko, the convicted federal felon be your guide.

In blogging matters, Flap was credentialed for the Republican National Convention that starts in Minneapolis on Monday. I was, also, credentialed for the California delegation.

Unfortunatley, for family reasons, I was not able to make the trip.

However, Flap will blog the convention here and on Twitter (in the right side bar under Twitter Updates) ——>

Stay tuned……
