Sarah Palin explains a facetious comment she made about Joe Biden’s years in the Senate.

Sarah Palin in an interview with CBS’s Katie Couric repeats an apparent age swipe at her rival Senator Slow Joe Biden.

Gov. Palin at Monday’s event in Columbus, OH:   I do look forward to Thursday night and debating Senator Joe Biden. We are going to talk about those new ideas, new energy for America. I’m looking forward to meet him too. I’ve never met him before. But, I’ve been hearing about his senate speeches since I was in like 2nd grade.

Katie Couric: You made a funny comment, you’ve said you have been listening to Joe Biden’s speeches since you were in second grade.

Gov. Palin: It’s been since like ‘72, yah.

Katie Couric: You have a 72-year-old running mate, is that kind of a risky thing to say, insinuating that Joe Biden’s been around awhile?

Gov. Palin: Oh no, it’s nothing negative at all. He’s got a lot of experience and just stating the fact there, that we’ve been hearing his speeches for all these years. So he’s got a tremendous amount of experience and, you know, I’m the new energy, the new face, the new ideas and he’s got the experience based on many many years in the Senate and voters are gonna have a choice there of what it is that they want in these next four years.

Alaska Governor is a fresh face and has been working in a world far different than any of the other candidates for President or Vice President. She offers a different perspective on life, family and politics.

Joe Biden who plagiarized his way through law school and his first run for the Presidency has been in public office far longer than even John McCain. Biden has been a Democrat politician his entire career.

American voters will decide if they want the experience of John McCain and the fresh perspective of Sarah Palin or the same old Democratic politics with Obama-Biden.

The choice cannot be more clear.

    Sing For Change – Obama

Light, hope, courage and love shine through these nonvoting children who believe that their very best contribution to the Obama campaign is to sing.

Only from the liberal left side of Los Angeles County, Venice, California.

This exhibition of singing children reminds me of the same cadre of singers for China’s Mao and North Korea’s “Dear Leader,” Kim Jong-Il.

    Enjoy this lunchtime interlude.

    GAG…….

By the way, wonder how this plays in battleground states?

Sarah Palin Nude Painting – Draws Sexist Treatment in Chicago Tribune and Joe Biden Reaction

    sarah-palin-nude-painting
Bruce Elliott, whose wife owns the Old Town Ale House, painted this nude portrait of Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin. He said his daughter, who does a good impression of the Alaska governor, served as model. (Kuni Takahashi, Chicago Tribune / September 29, 2008)

Good Grief! The Sarah Palin Derangement Syndrome continues with this obviously sexist piece at the left-wing homer newspaper for Barack Obama.

Does anyone think treatment like this of say, Hillary Clinton, would appear in ANY newspaper?

    UH, NO……

Here was Joe Biden’s reaction when asked about the nude portrait:

McCain – Palin Channels Bill Clinton in Latest Television Ad

McCain-Palin 2008 released its latest television ad, entitled “Rein.”

    From the Press Release:

The ad highlights John McCain’s record of fighting to reform Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. While John McCain was fighting to rein in these mortgage giants, Barack Obama was taking their campaign contributions, their advice and staying silent. As former President Clinton stated, responsibility for this crisis lies in part on those who prevented reforms and stayed silent. The ad will be televised nationally.

    The Script:

ANNCR: John McCain fought to rein in Fannie and Freddie.

The Post says: McCain “pushed for stronger regulation”…”while Mr. Obama was notably silent.”

    But, Democrats blocked the reforms.

    Loans soared.

    Then, the bubble burst.

And, taxpayers are on the hook for billions.

Bill Clinton knows who is responsible.

PRESIDENT BILL CLINTON: “I think the responsibility that the Democrats have may rest more in resisting any efforts by Republicans in the Congress or by me when I was President to put some standards and tighten up a little on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.”

ANNCR: You’re right, Mr. President. It didn’t have to happen.

JOHN MCCAIN: I’m John McCain and I approve this message.

Barack Obama is definitley benefitting in the polls from the economic turmoil in America’s financial and credit markets. Will John McCain be able to hang this albatross around Obama’s and the Democrat’s neck?

    It remains to be seen.

If McCain does not then he loses the Presidential race.

African American Congressman Alcee Hastings Apologizes for Racist Sarah Palin Comments

Hastings is a shining pillar of the Liberal Left. The Florida Democrat, a former federal district judge, was acquitted of conspiring to solicit a bribe from criminal defendants in 1982. But after a jury found attorney William Borders guilty of being his co-conspirator, Hastings was impeached and removed from the federal bench by Congress in 1989.

Florida Congressman Alcee Hastings has apologized for comments he made about Alaska Governor and GOP Vice President nominee Sarah Palin.

An African-American congressman from Florida is apologizing for his comment that black and Jewish voters should not support Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin because “anybody toting guns and stripping moose don’t care too much about what they do with Jews and blacks.”

“I regret the comments I made last Tuesday that were not smart and certainly not relevant to hunters or sportsmen,” Rep. Alcee Hastings said in a statement issued Monday.

Last week, at a panel on the shared agenda of Jewish and African-American Democrats during the annual conference of the National Jewish Democratic Council, Hastings told attendees what he intended to tell his Jewish constituents about the importance of supporting Sen. Obama in November’s presidential election. “If Sarah Palin isn’t enough of a reason for you to get over whatever your problem is with Barack Obama, then you damn well had better pay attention,” Hastings said last week. “Anybody toting guns and stripping moose don’t care too much about what they do with Jews and blacks. So, you just think this through,” he added.

If Hasting had been a Republican Congressman, every interest group in the United States would be pushing for his resignation. But, because Hasting is black he gets a pass for outrageously racist comments.

    Amazing……

Chris Matthews of MSNBC – In The Tank

Chris Matthews on MSNBC’s Hardball interviews his daughter, Caroline, second from LEFT without disclosing it

Is there any wonder why NBC News has sunk in the ratings? In this blatant exhibition of lack of ethics Chris Matthews interviews his daughter with “softball” questions about a supposed non-partisan group of college students.

    Yeah right.

His daughter, a University of Pennsylvania student suddenly appears at a rally for a student group Concerned Youth of America in Mississippi (University of Mississippi – Ol’ Miss) – prior to the Presidential debate.

The MSNBC producers provide Matthews cover by saying his daughter asked him to not to disclose her name.

    Ethical standards at MSNBC?

    Not so much……

    Day By Day 093008

Day By Day by Chris Muir

House GOP members rightfully help defeat, yesterday, HR 3997 which their leader John Boehner had called a “crap sandwich.”

The Democrat leadership in the House had every intention to use Republican votes to provide “COVER” for their own members for this unpopular bailout bill.

The bloom of crap is off one way bipartisanship but look for the Democrats to come back with another bill which they will (and can pass since they are in the majority) pass without GOP cooperation – if the House GOP leadership of Boehner and Blunt have learned their lessons.

Republican California State Senate candidate and former California Assemblyman Tony Strickland waving to early morning commuters in Camraillo, California, August 13, 2008

    From the Press Release:

The Ventura Chamber of Commerce Political Action Committee officially endorsed Tony Strickland in his race for the 19th District seat in the California State Senate. Strickland has a long history of supporting local businesses and promoting legislation aimed at growing our state and local economy.

In their endorsement letter, the Ventura Chamber of Commerce PAC states: “Your past record in the State Assembly, in support of key business legislation, is greatly needed in our state today and your support of small businesses and working families was a major factor in this decision to support your campaign.”

“It is an honor to receive the support of an organization that does such a wonderful job representing the Ventura business community,” said Strickland. “I will continue to work hard on their behalf and promote an environment that benefits working familes.”

Commentary in the local monthly magazine Ventura Business said it best…

    • “Rarely has there been such a contrast in business support between two candidates. Tony Strickland supported California businesses 92.77 percent of the time, while Jackson voted favorably for business 13.25 percent of the six-year period.”  – Ventura Business (September 2008)
    • “…Jackson has opposed discount retailers, supported higher local income taxes, car taxes, internet taxes, and increased regulation on businesses. Tony Strickland votes against such job-killing legislation, thereby standing with small businesses and working families.” – Ventura Business (September 2008)

Sarah Palin Watch: Pakistan and Gotcha Journalism

Katie Couric interviews Governor Sarah Palin and Senator John McCain

Sarah Palin is more relaxed in this interview with Katie Couric and Flap believes more herself. But, she appears somewhat tentative (is she nervous or afraid to make a mistake?) and looks to McCain for approval of some of her statements. McCain really needs to let her go.

Allah mentions that there are some interview missteps that are in the can and ready to hit later in the week. My God, are we running for Vice President or the Messiah (sorry that one is taken)? CBS should release the whole interview unedited now and let the viewers decide.

If Governor Palin cannot answer a question or is afraid to express an opinion then she shouldn’t be elected Vice President. However, if you are quizzing her with the intent to purposely cross her up, then what the hell kind of journalism is that?

Oh, Flap knows. The left-wing AGENDA dominated MSM.
