Another Worthless United Nations Resolution on Iran

The United States and Russia today agreed on a new United Nations resolution on Iran.

The proposed new resolution appears to be a compromise—no new sanctions but a tough statement to Iran that Security Council resolutions are legally binding and must be carried out.

No new sanctions and worthless as usual. Clearly, the Bush Administration will be doing nothing further on Iran and the uranium enrichment centrifuges continue to spin at Natanz.

   i wish you guys went to all this trouble when israel ignores UN resolutions. no other country on earth has ignored UN resolutions more than israel ,and not a word of protest from the USA. this double standard is the reason why the UN has weaken.

   i support iran having nuclear weapons as much as i support israel having nuclear weapons or even osama bin laden. all nukes are bad not just the arab ones. also depleted uranium shouldn’t be used either cause of the negative health associated with it which the US and british government refuse to acknowledge. i have just checked out the
   IAEA report on iran and i find it amazing how much access the iranian have given the inspectors.. definately cannot see the case for war or even sanctions.

    i do not support any arab country having nukes. but then again , i do not support USA or russia having them too. in todays world nukes do not make you safer. all WMD should be destroyed world wide, together with cluster bombs and any ammo containing depleted uranium. but my real concern is israels nuclear arsenal. extremism in israel always ends up prevailing and some nutty jewishish fundermentalist will thinks he’s doing gods bidding and wipe out the middle east for greater israel. soon the arabs will be able to match the israelis on the battlefield and the only option will be nuclear. thats why i say the USA needs to save israel from is nuclear crazy self before its too late.
