So, who won the VP debate?
Depends upon how you measure. One early poll gives the nod to Joe Biden but Frank Luntz’s focus group of undecided voters gives an overwhelming win to Sarah Palin.
The proof in the pudding will be the tracking polls within a few days but the conventional wisdom is Sarah Palin helped John McCain and especially herself as a future candidate with a stellar performance tonight.

you got to be kidding. i think biden was moaning in frustration because palin was so off the mark. it was like a teacher[biden] and a student[palin] debate. polls will definately reflect that biden easily won and palin gave programmed answers and even change the subject due to ignorance.biden gave precise answers to questions asked ,and palin could only score points by attacking bidens previous statements. palin is like a spokewoman for mccain, she isn’t ready for the big time yet.

Sarah Palin did very well and consider Joe Biden has 36 years in the U.S. Senate and alot more experience in these debate formats.
The conventional wisdom is that she held her own and exceeded everyone’s including the MSM expectations.

this is the VP spot we are talking about. biden show he was the man for the job, palin didn’t .
a leader of another country is not going to have a ‘kids glove’ approached to palin as biden did.
it wasn’t much of a debate, more like a discussion. biden i think should have ripped into palin and showed how unfit for the VP spot she really is. if this is the best GOP can come up with for the VP spot ,you guys are really in trouble.
you will lose in a landslide at election time.
