3158180558 96cdd64074 Six Out of Ten Active Duty Military Service Members Uncertain or Pessimistic of Obama as Commander in Chief

Is this a surprise that active duty military members have little or no confidence in Barack Obama as Commander in Chief?  How is this Harvard-trained lawyer, Chicago Community Organizer qualified to lead the military in the time of two wars?

When asked how they feel about President-elect Barack Obama as commander in chief, six out of 10 active-duty service members say they are uncertain or pessimistic, according to a Military Times survey.

In follow-up interviews, respondents expressed concerns about Obama’s lack of military service and experience leading men and women in uniform.

“Being that the Marine Corps can be sent anywhere in the world with the snap of his fingers, nobody has confidence in this guy as commander in chief,” said one lance corporal who asked not to be identified.

Remember when the press hammered Bush on military re-enlistment rates during the height of the Iraq War. Flap wonders how those rates will hold up now with Obama as President.

Want to bet the news is buried by the MSM?

Israel attacks Hamas in the Gaza and the world attacks Israel.

So, what else is new?

Oh yeah, Obama who commanded a 3 to 1 American Jewish voter majority in the last Presidential election plays golf and punts.

20 more days folks and Obama will have to step up – if he is capable.

++++++++++

Happy New Year Flapsblog readers!

  • Aides to Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger rolled out a new plan for closing California's gaping $40 billion budget deficit today that cobbles together elements of earlier proposals and adds a new tax increase and a "what if" quest to borrow $4.7 billion.

    "We are facing a major crisis, probably the most challenging budget situation the state has ever faced," said Mike Genest, Schwarzenegger's finance director. "The governor believes in acting immediately."

    Schwarzenegger is out of state and believed to be vacationing at the family residence in Sun Valley, Idaho.

    Dead on arrival. Cut the spending, Arnold.
    Damn this guy is dense.

  • California's three-strikes sentencing law suffered a blow Tuesday when a federal appeals court struck down as unconstitutional a 28-years-to-life sentence for a sex offender who failed to register with local police at the correct time of year.

    The U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals sent the case of Cecilio Gonzalez back to federal district court in Los Angeles for resentencing after finding his 2001 penalty constituted cruel and unusual punishment, which is prohibited by the 8th Amendment.
    +++++++
    Another Bull shit decision by the left driven Federal 9th Circuit. Time for the people of California to take back their own laws and bitch slap the judiciary.
