No reputable newspaper ran this story or asked that question. Andrew Sullivan and some others asked for the facts surrounding these rumours, but not anonymously. They asked because the rumours wouldnt go away EVEN THOUGH NO WAS REPORTING ON THEM.
Yes, rumours WERE perpetuated, but they were perpetuated by people that take the time, out of bordom or interest depending on your point view, TO WRITE IN ON THE COMMENT SPACE at the end of the articles they read. The DIARISTS, the joe sixpacks, every guy who can say anything he wants because it´s a free country. You know, what I AM DOING right here and now.
I am not going to apologize for wanting to know who these people are, THE PALINS, who are ON THE STAGE, on national TV, asking to be the second family of the United States.
Sarah Palin can blame anyone she wants to, but if you trot kids out like props and ask ME to trust you, when I dont know you, I just can´t do that. Maybe I could do it for a neighbor´or a guy in the check out line, but not for a potential VP. Yes, questions came up, and answers were not forthcoming. No one wanted to DIGNIFY it, fine, but that is what happened. Human nature is what it is…I wasn´t interested in THAT story, but others WERE. She is public figure! The Clintons are asked about scams and did they KILL that one, etc. crazy stuff…public figures often get caught up in this trash. It´s the territory. I think Palin is using this now to stay in the limelight. If it´s over, go away and govern your state.
In 2007 Palin gives H. Clinton some advice. Palin says Clinton should SHUT UP; STOP WHINING ABOUT THE MEDIA AND GO AND DO A GOOD JOB. Maybe Palin should check herself out on YOUTUBE and take her own advice.
Palin is more then willing to be embroiled IN ANYTHING that will keep her name out there until 2012.

Well, then COMPLAIN & WHINE which what Palin is certainly doing, but don´t be shocked when when people call her on it. IF you whine about EVERYTHING, then it´s a case of Peter and the Wolf, you lose all credibility should you EVER have a legitimate gripe. Peoples ears can´t or will not hear it anymore. You COMPLAINED them out. ..and frankly, the voice IS quite shrill.

…and AGAIN Flap, the left didn´t do it. Sullivan supported Obama but is a conservative, The McCain staffers are conservatives, the governors at the convention that ridiculed her were conservatives, the list does go on if you research. ALSO I REPEAT you would be hard pressed to find any liberal newspaper of website that perpetuated this, I again submit to you that it was the PEOPLE, the regular guy. People who log on and chat about THINGS. This why Palin still isn´t being taken seriously, she accuses the ADN, they sent an email back calling her on each and every point. IT´s BEEN PUBLISHED! They backed it up, and Palin just looks like a whiner , once again.

She really should take her advice to Clinton. .. and the advice from Coulter, which is to go and bone up an shut up.

Riled? Your word. I think a better word is CONCERNED.
Many people ARE concerned because Palin embodies everything that was wrong with Bush, from the dim witted disconnect to using the word NUK-U-LAR. Many similarties. One dolt is barely out the door and a small but loud portion of America has adopted another remedial learner.
Have you ever been in a position to hire anyone? Many HAVE. You hire the best person, and this doesn´t mean you are AFRAID of the others that you did not bother to hire. It merely means you thought they were not right for the job.

Another good word is AGHAST.
PS I should add that if you didnñt hire someone, you may not give them a GOOD RECOMMENDATION either. Again, doesn´t mean you are AFRAID of the person, or riled up about the person. You may be utterly unimpressed by the person and feel you must share if asked.
