President Obama Warns GOP About Listening to Rush Limbaugh – Remember “I WON”

Obama-Vs-Rush-Limbaugh

President Obama is already at war with the MSM Press and now he is picking on conservative radio talk show king, Rush Limbaugh.

President Obama warned Republicans on Capitol Hill today that they need to quit listening to radio king Rush Limbaugh if they want to get along with Democrats and the new administration.

“You can’t just listen to Rush Limbaugh and get things done,” he told top GOP leaders, whom he had invited to the White House to discuss his nearly $1 trillion stimulus package.

One White House official confirmed the comment but said he was simply trying to make a larger point about bipartisan efforts.

“There are big things that unify Republicans and Democrats,” the official said. “We shouldn’t let partisan politics derail what are very important things that need to get done.”

That wasn’t Obama’s only jab at Republicans today.

While discussing the stimulus package with top lawmakers in the White House’s Roosevelt Room, President Obama shot down a critic with a simple message.

“I won,” he said, according to aides who were briefed on the meeting. “I will trump you on that.”

The response was to the objection by Sen. Jon Kyl (R-Arizona) to the president’s proposal to increase benefits for low-income workers who don’t owe federal income taxes.

The post-partisan President, indeed……

The problem is that Republicans didn’t listen to Rush. That is how we ended up with BO in the White House and dems in control. If the Republicans want to win seats in congress in a big way in ’10 then stick to conservative principals and never, never, ever compromise with the Democrats on anything.

The press will always hate Republicans so stop trying to win their approval and take the dems on mono-a-mono. Republicans should never vote for anything proposed by congressional dems ever until the Republicans are back in power and they have to compromise with us. Most Americans have or lean toward conservative principlas. You don’t need to persuade them on the issues you need to show them you are a winner.

Before conservatism, like it or not, American voters want to be on the side of a winner. That is why them dems won. They went into the attack zone and took control of the game. They looked, sounded and smelled like the winners. The Republicans looked like a boxer in the corner of the ring taking a pummeling waiting for the ref to call the fight.

Grow a pair Republicans and take these guys on. They spent the last 5 years aggressively attacking Bush and Republicans. From now on whenever conservatives in congress talk about dems to the press they need to include discussions of crooks, criminals and tax cheats.

For example, if a Republican is asked about a dem tax increase proposal they need to start their answer with “What we have in Washington today is a culture that embraces tax cheats, crooks and criminals…” Get a clue people you can’t win without a heavy barrage of negative attacks. This is the way the game is played and won. OB in the White House and Dems in control in both houses of congress is the proof.

You can’t win any game by playing only defense like the Republicans have for the past 5 years. This is the call to all Republicans… If any Republican in the House or Senate is caught sponsoring legislation with a dem or compromising with a dem or not attacking a dem take them out in the next Republican primary. We should start with John McCain. It is time for him to retire and go fishing. He must be held responsible for the mess he has contributed to. It is time for the RINOs to go far far away.

You can observe all you want. I attend to oppose the policies that the President and the Democrats are proposing. Their policies are wrong and I will work to defeat as many Democrats as possible in the next elections.

If the policies of the Democrats are put into place, get ready for only a mild recovery at best and a quick return to recession and rapidly rising inflation by 2010.

In addition, Obama has already demonstrated he is the same old style Washington politician by appointing the same old lobbyists, old Clinton officials and a tax cheat as Treasury secretary. Change????Hardly, just more of the same old corrupt Washington politics where the more you pay the more you get to participate.
