Day By Day by Chris Muir

Chris, Flap thought the Obama Administration was not only post-partisan but also post-racial.

And, it appears Obama has slighted women, having appointed fewer to Cabinet level status than President Bush.

Oh My!

But, who is counting, right?

As a White Female construction worker in the IBEW. The building trades are a great way to make a living; but they aren’t easy jobs. They are Physical, mental and you usually are working in the weather. There are more and more Women and minorities in the trades. The apprenticeships are open to everyone; but you can’t make someone apply. Our program is 5 years before you become a journeyman. A first year apprentice is basically a material expediter and that is it. But those guys thinking that they can get a bunch of untrained people to work this year are fooling themselves for the safety of the workers alone this is a bad idea. I’ll bet Robert Reich has never turned a wrench typical egg-heads think that Construction work doesn’t take brains “anyone” can do it

I’m sure they’d let white guys rebuild roads and bridges if they did it for free; after all, they aren’t going to get “katrina victims” addicted to gov’ment welfare to do “public service”.
