Rudy Giuliani is far too much of a Republican partisan to be a good NY Governor in my opinion. Mike Bloomberg is much more centrist and independent minded; he could be a good Governor for NY. And then there is Andrew Cuomo, who would garner the support of many Democrats in NY in any race he runs in during the 2010 statewide elections. If the Republicans want to win they should try to run Bloomberg. If the Democrats want to win they should definitely eject Paterson from their ticket and replace him with Andrew Cuomo. Everyone is talking about a Cuomo versus Giuliani race. I think a Bloomberg versus Cuomo race would be much more interesting.

Guliani was awesome because he used the law to clean up NYC. Bloomberg is terrible because he helps create truly fascistic laws under the guise of 'caring'. There's such a clear difference between the two mayors. Yet Guliani is reviled by the left, and Bloomberg receives no flack from them.

Giuliani was right. New York is a better place because of the changes he brought. It’s safer, there are more jobs, it’s cleaner, it’s not as offensive to a family to walk down the street with children and worry about the peep-show houses right next to the theatre where a Broadway show is playing.

Michael Bloomberg is not only a better mayor of New York than Rudy Giuliani - he'd make a better President, too.
That's the result of a Daily News poll released today that asked the voters who know best - New Yorkers - which man belongs in the White House.
