I think the best thing for us Americans to do is save and pay down debt. Invest in gold and silver. Hard gold and silver. not ETF's. Right now I see that Gold and Silver are trading at $895.50 and $12.09 but getting them at that price will be impossible. The other thing I intend to do is grow a garden. If things don't get bad. Great. But if they do, I want to be prepared as best I can. A few extra GOP votes to pass it gives the GOP no extra-credit. It is Obama's baby. Let his party take responsibility. Sink or swim. But, on a substantive note, the bill is pork laden and will not provide the necessary stimulative effect America needs, especially JOBS. Even as amended, I doubt it will have much affect for more than a year while increasing unecessary/reckless government spending and long term debt.
