Hearst White House columnist Helen Thomas poses a question to U.S. President Barack Obama during his first news conference as president in the East Room of the White House in Washington, February 9, 2009

Maybe Flap will reconsider his opinion about the Louisiana Governor.

Actually, Jindal’s presentation last night was poor, the substance of his remarks was OK and there was nothing fatal to his political career.

  1. Thomas Jackson says:

I really get aNNOYED BY THOSE WHO GUAGE A SPEECH BY VIRTUE OF ITS DELIVERY RATHER THAN SUBSTANCE. jINDAL BEAT oBAMA IN EVERY POSSIBLE CATEGORY EXCEPT SNAKE OIL SALESMANSHIP.

    Sincerity.
    Getting the facts right.
    Being on target.
    Delivering the message accurately.

Apparently you want more Clinton or Obama speakers? Not me and most people I know. You can tell a snake oil salesman from a mile away and Jindal isn’t one of them.

  2. Flap says:

Bobby Jindal needs to work on his delivery if he is going to move up to a national audience. His performance after the SOTU speech by Obama was very halting, choppy and detracted from the substance of his remarks
