Try “poor white trash,” especially such whose minds are too easily open to suggestion and corrupt influence.
Not to mention unaware of the likelihood that the entire “tea party” movement (dominated by “the Four Hundred”) is actually using the Great Unwashed for potentially nefarious ends. Especially where fanaticism is desired or sought.
