Funny, isn’t it, Chris how your teeth affect your speech and persona?

What worries Flap is with Obamacare and the rush of organized dentistry, including the American Dental Association and the American Dental Education Association to ask for government bailouts/subsidies that American private dentistry will go the way of the awful British National Health Service System.

Then, the broken front tooth will NOT be a temporary inconvenience but a three/four month wait for an appointment to see your government dentist.

    Starting on July 1, Dentical will not cover patients over 21 yrs old in California.
    First-Five and Healthy Families might also be affected.

    It is my understanding that over 200 health clinics will be closing as a result. Perhaps more now that the California budget is MORE out of balance.

    The Obama economic stimulus so far has been a colossal failure for California.

    Most of our community health clinics operate with federal funds and are able to offer sliding scale fees. It is just that the need is so great, we are already stretched thin, with a 1-2 month appmt. waiting time.

    Yes, it does not look good for public health dentistry jobs in California. I substitute in for alot of these clinics but assignments lately from them have been few.

    I think quite a few dentists will be leaving California for other states where their budgets are not so busted.
