Bill O’ gives his talking points memo.

Do you agree?

Flap’s take: More embarassing for the Norwegians and other Europeans which is better for America.

I think it takes away the legitimacy of the award to give it to someone that like Sienfield will say: It’s about nothing!

However, Obama took the time to make political campaign from European soil and to sell the notion that he will sit and dialogue with anyone if the result of such effort is peace. The majority of the American nation embraced his rhetoric in November and obviously, so did Europe and Oslo.

The award could be as much about issuing a slap at Obama’s predecessor, former President George W. Bush, as about lauding Obama. Bush was reviled by the world for his cowboy diplomacy, Iraq war and snubbing of European priorities like global warming. Remember that the Nobel prize has a long history of being awarded more for the committee’s aspirations than for others’ accomplishments — for Mideast peace or a better South Africa, for instance.

Barack obama peace price (noble prize) will not affect America…. I think American have already accepted and made up thier mind to accept this president…but it would have been better to give him after he could do still more new things in America…I think it is bit early..
