• CA-Sen: Carly Fiorina bank account leads GOP Senate hopefuls
  Carly Fiorina's campaign had $2.8 million in the bank early this month heading into the final nine weeks of the Republican primary campaign for U.S. Senate, much more than either of her two rivals in California's GOP Senate race.

  Former Rep. Tom Campbell ended March with $1.1 million in cash, while Assemblyman Chuck DeVore had $412,000.

  That's according to the latest fundraising reports, which had to be filed with the Federal Election Commission by Thursday.

  Latest polls show Fiorina and Campbell locked in a tight race in the June 8 primary, though none of the candidates have launched significant advertising campaigns. The winner faces Democratic Sen. Barbara Boxer in November.

  And, all Carly has to do is write another check if she needs cash for last minute advertising.

  Plus, Campbell's cash on hand is actually less (around 700K) since some of his money was raised for the general election.

What kind of Republican refuses to sign the pledge not to raise taxes? Even a liberal like Dede Scozzafava was willing to do so. California voters deserve to know the truth about Tom Campbell.
