  • Carly Fiorina's campaign had $2.8 million in the bank early this month heading into the final nine weeks of the Republican primary campaign for U.S. Senate, much more than either of her two rivals in California's GOP Senate race.

Former Rep. Tom Campbell ended March with $1.1 million in cash, while Assemblyman Chuck DeVore had $412,000.

That's according to the latest fundraising reports, which had to be filed with the Federal Election Commission by Thursday.

Latest polls show Fiorina and Campbell locked in a tight race in the June 8 primary, though none of the candidates have launched significant advertising campaigns. The winner faces Democratic Sen. Barbara Boxer in November.
    ++++++
And, all Carly has to do is write another check if she needs cash for last minute advertising.

Plus, Campbell's cash on hand is actually less (around 700K) since some of his money was raised for the general election.

0415104264998 Day By Day April 15, 2010 The Plays The Thing

Day By Day by Chris Muir

The LEFT is going all out on national tax protest day to discredit the Tea Party protests – ala Saul Alinsky.

Why?

Because federal taxes will be an increasing burden to the economy as will Obama’s increasing government control of every day American’s lives.

It is obvious in the polls that President Obama and Congressional Democrats have already lost the war of ideas on increasing government spending, plus big taxation. This WILL play out in the November Congressional elections when Democrats will lose control of at least one house in the Congress. This is what the LEFT really fears – loss of control.

Hence, the Alinksy tactics to portray Tea Party protests as unhinged, racist rantings by right-wing radicals.

I don’t think this will play in November.

GOProud to the California Republicans: Dont Let California Get Dede’d

And, Tom Campbell is the ONLY Republican in the California GOP Senate field that supports gay marriage.

Go figure.

Tom Campbell is still too LEFT for the national gay conservatives. Maybe they don’t like Campbell’s running around with Islamic terrorists and their supporters?

In any case, this ad will soon be airing on a California television station near you.

Today, GOProud, the only national organization representing gay conservatives and their allies, unveiled a new advertising campaign against U.S. Senate candidate and former Rep. Tom Campbell (R-CA). Tom Campbell refuses to sign the pledge not to raise taxes, supported increasing the income tax on California voters, and proposed a 32 cents a gallon increase in the gas tax, said Jimmy LaSalvia, Executive Director of GOProud. What kind of Republican refuses to sign the pledge not to raise taxes? Even a liberal like Dede Scozzafava was willing to do so. California voters deserve to know the truth about Tom Campbell.

Anyone want to bet what provisions of Obamacare will stand the test of time – meaning will actually be implemented as promised by the President, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid?

Members of Congress will reinstate their own priveleges and the quicker the better. Do you REALLY think a Member of Congress will want to wait in a Medicaid type rationing line when the member or members of his family are sick?

And, when the taxes go up, they will simply raise their own salaries concomitantly with raising our taxes even more.

PLUS CA CHANGE
