    •  In the beginning, there was Planet Poker.

Although really, the savvy ones were making money from online poker even before that. Russ "Dutch" Boyd–who would later take inspiration from Steve Miller's classic joint in his poker industry career–was one of the earliest adopters. He and others discovered in the latter half of 1997 that an online company called 2AM Games offered a platform for legally parting fools from their money. 2AM Games hosted online Texas Holdem Poker.

GOP: Doc Fix Can Break ObamaCare

"Congressional Republicans are hoping to put Democrats in a no-win new year’s jam: defund a big chunk of their health care overhaul or slash Medicare payments instead.

Despite rampant repeal rhetoric, Republicans have so far struggled to dismantle any part of health reform. Now, they see a new path forward: pilfer health reform dollars to pay for the next "doc fix," the must-pass patch to Medicare doctor payments.

" Republican Senate aides familiar with the issue told POLITICO they are seriously looking at the new law’s $15 billion public health commitment to finance a one-year doc fix in the next session of Congress.

The Senate has passed four doc fixes this year alone, none of which were longer than six months and two lasted just 30 days. The last patch, a one-month reprieve passed by the House on Monday, will expire on Dec. 31. Without a doc fix, Medicare provider rates would drop 25 percent.

The idea of tying the doc fix to a partial health reform repeal has legs because it comes with a clear rhetorical message: Congress should not start creating new entitlements without the necessary funding to uphold existing ones.

I have said for months now that I was not worried about ObamaCare legislation because the Congress would NEVER be able to fund it.

And, they can’t without bankrupting the country or rationing care like the U.K.

ObamaCare will be repealed a little at a time and will never be implemented.

Obama should resign if approved UN spying: WikiLeaks founder

"President President Barack Obama should resign if it can be shown that he approved spying by US diplomatic figures on UN officials, the founder of WikiLeaks said in an interview published Sunday.

"The whole chain of command who was aware of this order, and approved it, must resign if the US is to be seen to be a credible nation that obeys the rule of law. The order is so serious it may well have been put to the president for approval," Julian Assange told Spanish daily El Pais.

"Obama must answer what he knew about this illegal order and when. If he refuses to answer or there is evidence he approved of these actions, he must resign," he added during an Internet chat interview published online."

    Well, now isn’t this interesting.

But, nobody in America really cares about the United Nations. And, most Americans know that most foreign diplomats are spies for their own country.

So, a non-starter but keeps WikiLeaks in the news.

GOP Senators Say Deal Likely on Extending Tax cuts & Jobless Benefits – But That is All in Lameduck Session

"Top senators from both parties indicated Sunday that a deal was likely soon on temporarily extending Bush-era tax cuts for all Americans, along with unemployment benefits that have expired.

However, Republican senators made clear they are unlikely to budge in their opposition to other Democratic priorities in the final weeks of the lame-duck session of Congress that ends in early January.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Kentucky, told the NBC program "Face the Nation" he was "optimistic" about an agreement on the tax rates and jobless benefits, but added there likely wasn’t time for the Senate to ratify a new nuclear arms treaty with Russia or complete work on a major defense bill that includes repeal of the "don’t ask, don’ tell" policy banning openly gay and lesbian soldiers."

I would say that is about right, depending if the far-left Pelosi led House member wish to make a deal. They may decide to block a deal and let the American people suffer under the uncertainty of higher tax rates beginning Jnauary 1.

The GOP will NOT proceed to START, DADT or the DREAM Act before the new Congress and why should they?

Also, Harry Reid’s cynical attempt to ram through online poker legislation for his friends in the Nevada casino industry will also fail.

    Day By Day December 4 & 5, 2010 – Balls & Crickets

Day By Day by Chris Muir

Day By Day by Chris Muir

The Lamsesteam media or MSM has NOT covered Obama’s missteps with regards to foreign policy, including Iraq and Afghanistan. Remember how NBC and CBS news were all over President George W. Bush and the daily body counts? Remember all of the fallen soldier’s families being interviewed as their bodies were returned to America?

    Now, there are crickets.

What about national security and WikiLeaks.

Is anyone placing blame on the Obama Administration?

Again, crickets – except maybe Newt Gingrich.

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said Sunday that President Obama and the White House deserve a large share of the blame for the massive amounts of classified information revealed through WikiLeaks.

Gingrich said the leaks are “a scandal of the first order” and that they demonstrate the Obama administration is “shallow” and “amateurish” when it comes to national security.

“You have a private first class who downloads a quarter million documents, and the system doesn’t say, ‘Oh, you may be over extended?’ I mean, this is a system so stupid that it ought to be a scandal of the first order,” Gingrich said. “This administration is so shallow and so amateurish about national security that it is painful and dangerous.”

It is obvious that the Obama Administration is in over their heads – on the order of Jimmy Carter incompetence.
