Ron Paul and White Pride Ron Paul Watch: Don Black, David Duke, Stormfront.org 2012 EditionThe same characters from the White Supremacy Movement are supporting Ron Paul for President.

As you recall, during the 2008 Presidential campaign I had a lot to say about the issue.

I guess voters have a short memory.

Ron Paul was a hot topic this week on the talk radio show hosted by prominent white supremacist Don Black and his son Derek. Mr. Black said he received Mr. Paul’s controversial newsletters when they were first published about two decades ago and described how the publications were perceived by members of the white supremacist movement. Former KKK Grand Wizard and Louisiana Congressman David Duke also phoned in to explain why he’s voting for Mr. Paul.

“Everybody, all of us back in the 80′s and 90′s, felt Ron Paul was, you know, unusual in that he had actually been a Congressman, that he was one of us and now, of course, that he has this broad demographic–broad base of support,” Mr. Black said on his broadcast yesterday.

Mr. Black is a former Klansman and member of the American Nazi Party who founded the “white nationalist” website Stormfront in 1995. He donated to Mr. Paul in 2007 and has been photographed with the candidate. Mr. Paul has vocal supporters in Stormfront’s online forum. Mr. Black has repeatedly said he doesn’t currently think Mr. Paul is a “white nationalist.

Mr. Paul’s newsletters contained threats of a “coming race war,” worries about America’s “disappearing white majority and warning against “the federal-homosexual cover-up on AIDS.” He has since denied writing the newsletters, which appeared under his own name.

“I didn’t write them, I disavow them, that’s it,” Mr. Paul said in a tense CNN interview.

On Monday, Mr. Black said he originally believed the newsletters were written by Mr. Paul.

Yeah,  Ron Paul continues to receive support, including campaign cash  from these folks. He disavows what they say but accepts the support anyway.

The White Supremicists think Ron Paul is one of their own – same ol’ story.

Vote accordingly, Iowans.

Mitt and Ann romney President 2012 GOP Poll Watch: Romney Now Leading Gingrich in National Poll

Mitt and Ann Romney campaigning in Iowa today

According to the latest Gallup Poll.

Mitt Romney has edged ahead of Newt Gingrich, 27% to 23%, for the national lead among Republican voters for the first time since Gallup Daily tracking of the Republican race began on Dec. 1. Ron Paul remains in deep third place with 11% of the GOP vote, followed by Rick Perry at 8%.

Watch Mitt Romney.

He is now campaigning in Iowa and will be there over the weekend. His campaign smells a win in Iowa, which is somewhat reflected in the national poll results above.

Newt Gingrich is sinking and there really is no one else left.

Romney will want a knockout blow next Tuesday in Iowa and he may very well get it.

Romney Vs. Obama Poll President 2012 Poll Watch: Romney 45% Vs. Obama 39%

According to the latest Rasmussen Poll.

Mitt Romney has now jumped to his biggest lead ever over President Obama in a hypothetical Election 2012 matchup. It’s also the biggest lead a named Republican candidate has held over the incumbent in Rasmussen Reports surveying to date.

The latest national telephone survey finds that 45% of Likely U.S. Voters favor the former Massachusetts governor, while 39% prefer the president. Ten percent (10%) like some other candidate in the race, and six percent (6%) are undecided.

A week ago, Romney trailed Obama 44% to 41%.  The week before that, he held a slight 43% to 42% edge over the president. The two candidates have been essentially tied in regular surveys since January, but Romney remains the only GOP hopeful to lead Obama in more than one survey. Despite Romney’s current six-point lead, his latest level of support is in line with the 38% to 45% he has earned in matchups with the president this year. However, Obama’s 39% is a new low: Prior to this survey, his support has ranged from 40% to 46% in matchups with Romney.

Am I surprised?

No, not really.

The general consensus is that Obama, while a likeable fellow, is simply not up to the job. He has NO leadership qualities for governance. Ideology yes, execution – NO.

With the GOP Establishment now coalescing around Mitt Romney, American voters will settle for someone who has a track record of successful endeavors and throw “Hope and Change to the ash bin of political hack slogans along with Obama.
