Mitt Romney and the 47 Per Cent
Graphic: www.taxpolicycenter.org and AP
No, Mitt Romney didn’t lose the election with his 47 per cent comments at a private fundraiser last May.
Here is the video:

Why?
Because Romney is actually correct. Look at these charts and see for yourself.
But, were the “off the cuff” comments smart politically?
Probably not as the MSM left-wing media’s heads explode with this “devastating” gaffe. In a big way, this reinforces the Team Obama meme that Romney is out of touch with every day Americans, who are the 47 per cent.
However, ULTIMATELY, American voters will have to ferret out the truth here and decide who they want as President based on records and policy.

CA-26: Julia Brownley Is Running Us Off the Tracks
The National Republican Congressional Committee is up with a new web ad (I don’t know if it will run on Ventura County cable television) attacking Democrat Julia Brownley for her votes raising taxes and for the costly California High Speed Rail Project.
The ad is mocking and quite fun, but drives home the point that California Assemblywoman Julia Brownley is a tax and spend liberal who will raise YOUR taxes to fund wasteful government spending – like the Jerry Brown promoted California High Speed Train to nowhere.
Here is the ad:

Day By Day September 18, 2012 – Big Girls Don’t Cry
Should President Obama win re-election in November who will he and the Democrats in Congress have to blame for the preceding six years?
Can you guess?
Why not Bush again?
Or, it used to be Reagan?
The character flaw of avoiding responsibility for public policy decisions is endemic in American government. This is one of the reasons why many Americans are so turned off with politics.
Congress and the President had better start governing after the elections or 2014 will be a blood bath for incumbents.

- @LizMair Lastly, Liz, maybe Romney has written off/de-emphasized VA. He really doesn't need VA to win. But, it would be a nice pick up. in reply to LizMair #
