Senator Joe Lieberman Watch: New Poll – Lamont Beating Lieberman 51% to 41%

Ned Lamont, who is challenging incumbent U.S. Sen. New Rasmussen poll: Lamont, 51%: Lieberman 41%

Rasmussen is to release a new poll on CT senate primary. According to this poll, Lieberman is going to face a crushing defeat losing to Lamont by 41% to 51%.

In an anticipated three-way race in which Lieberman runs as an independent, the result is a deadheat:

Lieberman(I): 40%, Lamont(D): 40%, Cand(R): 13%.

Looks like Joe will be running as an independent.

Will the GOP aid Lieberman, running as an independent?
