Presidential Candidate HECKLER Katherine Prudhomme-O’Brien

Listen to the video above and this video in a drive-by piece by a New Hampshire television reporter turned blogger named John Keller.

The direct link to Keller’s interview of Prudhomme-O’Brien and two news anchor’s interview/discussion with him, plus his opinion piece is here or here.

Five year-old Abby O’Brien waits for Republican presidential candidate and former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani to arrive for a campaign stop in Derry, New Hampshire August 16, 2007.

Now, this Derry, New Hampshire home-schooling mom is denying she is a Tom Tancredo supporter as originally stated on Wikipedia – although he has been to her home. Here is some of today’s posting on the Wikipedia site.

Aside from the Broaddrick issue, Prudhomme supported John McCain‘s presidential run in 2000 as a Derry Town Chair.[2]When her political activism died down in the media, Prudhomme went on to continue raising her two daughters, and take part in Derry politics by becoming one of the Library Trustees and a member of the Republican State Committee. She was elected as a delegate from the Town of Derry to the New Hampshire GOP State Convention in 2006[3]. Prudhomme is a part of the Vesta Roy Series group, which encourages conservative women to enter politics. Most recently, Prudhomme organized a luncheon for 2008 Republican Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney.[[4]] She is a conservative, however she is critical of the current Bush administration. Although she was suspected of supporting Republican Presidential hopeful Tom Tancredo, Prudhomme later denied the claim, saying, “I am not with any campaign.” However, she admitted to liking the “sincerity” of Dennis Kucinich and met with Tancredo at her Derry home.[[5]]

Was Rudy set-up?

You betcha and on a non-issue at that. What the hell does his just turned eighteen year old daughter’s Facebook page have to do with ANYTHING?

Flap doesn’t know which is worse – A professional Presidential Candidate HECKLER stealthly supporting McCain in Katherine Prudhomme-O’Brien or the DRIVE-BY attempt by Jon Keller to ignore HER past and portray her as an ordinary mom asking the former Mayor a family values question? And, while her daughter’s mouth is taped up with a Rudy sticker like an abortion protester .

Judge for yourself.

In her own defense, Prudhomme-O’Brien says she is not a whacko.

Right……..

    Yeay Yeah Yeah

Now it is the sister who put the sticker over the fice year old kid’s mouth.

Kook or weirdo nut lover is an apt description.

This was a set-up for the Mayor by the fringe right pro-lifers. You just cannot accept a pro-choice candidate that is not pure on abortion.

    So, who do you support?

McCain? Tancredo? Huckabee? Not Romney is it?

A set-up for the FORMER mayor, huh? This was a question sparked by her nephew who lives in New York, if you watched the interview with Jon Keller. This is a genuine concern over a politician’s blatanly turbulent family life. What the heck does this have anything to do with abortion?

I’m not a member of the Republican party, and I do not support a candidate yet. For me, this is less about the ’08 election and more about your childish and deragatory tactics of name-calling of a citizen who speaks from curiousity. It’s also about you making assertions (and frivilous ones at that) on flimsy evidence that you concocted in your head and the blatant hypocrisy you smear this blog with. Kudos to your “fans”– God knows they need ignorance to agree with you.

A set-up for the FORMER mayor, huh?

An easy conclusion based on her history of political activism.

The Mayor’s family life is well documented and it was a rhetorical question aimed at him like the one she asked Al Gore previously.

She is a professional nut-ball heckler. No more and no less.

And you seem to be a name calling troll – sort of like her.

    Am I wrong?

  • Trishek Tyjekl

Her history in political activism deals with Juanita Broaddrick in relation to Bill Clinton. What that has to do with Mayor Giuliani, please tell me.

She wanted a definitive answer from Giuliani– he evaded the topic of his personal life all too often, and she got the man to show his true colors with his snippy response and all. She wasn’t trying to prove anything. She started the question by lauding Rudy for his work with 9/11, she has family in NY… watch the interview! She just asked a humble and reasonable question. It wouldn’t have made headlines, Flap, had it been frivolous or unnecessary– Politicians and their lives outside the office are very important to voters like you and I.

She has been active in the GOP Presidential campaign this year For example, Tom Tancredo visited her home and in 2000 she supported John McCain. Right? See the above post.

Aside from the Broaddrick issue, Prudhomme supported John McCain’s presidential run in 2000 as a Derry Town Chair.[2]When her political activism died down in the media, Prudhomme went on to continue raising her two daughters, and take part in Derry politics by becoming one of the Library Trustees and a member of the Republican State Committee.

And didn’t she ask Mitt Romney a charged question at a forum?

…she got the man to show his true colors with his snippy response and all. She wasn’t trying to prove anything.

This is simply not true. She was trying to purposely humiliate the Mayor about his daughter – having joined a Facebook group for Barack Obama.

The question made headlines until she was busted as a professional heckler.

  • Trishek Tyjekl

You can’t make these assumptions, Flap. You can’t assume that just because she has relations with Republican candidates that she must have been trying to humiliate Rudy Giuliani. Let’s look at the facts: 1) This wasn’t stemmed from a partisan issue as she stated that she is not with any campaign. 2) She thinks highly of Giuliani’s political work (even thanked him before asking her question) but was “truly curious” about a question her nephew brought up, 3) As she stated, it just so hapened that Tancredo visited her home, if you listen to the full interview, it could have been any politician..

Look, all I’m saying is you can’t deduce that she was trying to humiliate a man, just because she supported Republicans. That’s like saying, because you’re a liberal, that any provocative question you ask a conservative must have a malicious connatation to it. It’s ludicrous to think that way…

Citizens questioning their politicians in a healthy democracy is now “heckling.” What a sad decline our country is going in…

  • Flap

Your premises are incorrect and hence your conclusions.

This whacko has been extremely active in politics and her statements that she is NOT with any campaign is merely a “cover story.”

Flap can smell a set-up when it occurs.

Now you are trying to give her partisan actions credibility.

Her track record speaks for itself and wasn’t it George Stephanopoulos on ABC that first called her a “professional heckler?”

Most pundits have agreed and the story has not gained much traction – except for Keller.

    The latest from wikipedia:

In response to the attention Prudhomme has received since the question to Giuliani, Prudhomme has been questioned about other politicians. Prudhomme has returned to the topic of the Clintons. She told the Concord Monitor that she mentioned the Broaddrick matter to Clinton at a Clinton 2008 event and Prudhomme says she was pulled from the event by Secret Service and the Nashua police. She told the Monitor: “My reasoning for bringing it up to Hillary is because I don’t really want to stand by and watch Hillary Clinton take us back to a time when only the right kind of women, the kind of women who don’t make claims against powerful men, are believed. And that’s what she’s doing.”[3]

    Yeah, she is real balanced…….

  • Trishek Tyjekl

Here’s a little rule about politics: you can’t discredit what someone says until you prove that what they say is false. So, you can’t say that Prudhomme is lying when she says she’s not with any campaign until you can present me with facts stating she donated money or her services to a certain campaign. Call me crazy but your sense of smell doesn’t do it for me. These are pretty low standards for a blogger.

I’m not saying she’s not conservative. She is. All I’m saying is that her question didn’t arise from partisan loyalty (she’s questioned both sides harshly); it arose from an authentic concern on a human level; a strife started from her nephew… you really can’t prove anything else, until you can disprove it.

And Stephanopolous worked in the Clinton administration. Of course he’d call her a “heckler.” He doesn’t want his pal Bill to be caught up in rape charges again. That’s the last thing that pervert turned president turned humanitarian needs.

  • Flap

Sorry I am not a “nice” person.

But, when I see a nutbar I call them out.

In the political world if you cannot take the heat……..

  • Trishek Tyjekl

In the political world, you also have to have REASON to believe someone is worthy of being called a name. And you have neither the talent nor effort to prove that she’s a kook. You are sensationalist who makes fun of courageous and smart citizens for your own self-aggrandizing purposes.

  • Flap

Remember it was Prudhomme that confronted and attempted to embarass Rudy about his family.

She is the self-aggrandizer here – as she has been on many other occasions.

  • Trishek Tyjekl

An honest question for a politician (meant to make decisions that affect you and me)about his undeniably turbulent family life is not to embarass someone. Asking why Rudy Giuliani is balding is attempting to embarass him– not asking an important question that could affect American citizens.

You really have no substance to your argument. You can’t take a tangible fact and make such an absurd abstract assesment of it. That’s not how journalism, or quality/respectable blogs work. It works for trash blogs that vilify those who speak up for a general concern. No wonder.

  • Flap

And you really have no response to my arguments except calling me names.

I think we are really done here.

    The story has gone nowhere.
