Romney has spent upwards of $17 million of his own fortune in the last reporting period – 3rd quarter 2007.
Although new figures will not be reported until January 31, 2008 – after the Florida primary, Flap bets Romney easily doubled this figure to run those attack ads on television and in the mail against Mike Huckabee and John McCain.
Romney may spend what it takes of his estimated $ 250 million in personal assets.
But, remember money can’t buy you love.

I am wondering if anyone is aware of how much the other candidates are spending on their campaigns?
I hear a lot about Romney and Huckabee in Iowa but the buck seems to stop there?
Why is that? Is no one else in the race fiscally transparent? And where can I find that information?
If $65 million dollars was spent campaigning in Iowa who is spending it and why are you and the news only reporting on one campaign? It just a seems a little odd and a little slanted?
