President 2008,  Rudy Giuliani

Jon Voight Endorses Rudy Giuliani

Academy Award winning actor, Jon Voight

From the press release:

The Rudy Giuliani Presidential Committee today announced that accomplished actor Jon Voight has endorsed Rudy Giuliani for President of the United States and will campaign on his behalf in both Florida and California later this month.

Voight, who earned both an Oscar and Golden Globe for his role as a quadriplegic Vietnam Veteran in the 1978 movie “Coming Home” and numerous nominations for other roles, has been a powerful presence on the silver screen for almost four decades.

“America is approaching one of its most important elections in history and we must elect a leader with the strength and resolve of Rudy Giuliani,” said Voight. “His commitment to keeping our military strong and his track record of transforming New York makes him the right man at the right time for our country.”

“I am honored to have Jon Voight’s help on the campaign trail,” said Mayor Giuliani. “Our shared vision of maintaining America’s strength and providing the focus for the challenges we face is one that is shared by countless others who are supporting our campaign.”

A good get for the Mayor. Hopefully, the campaign will put Voight in the recording studio as quickly as they can.

Flap can hear the radio ads now.

Rudy is going to win Florida, and will win most of the Feb. 5th states. Then he’ll win the nomination, and then the presidency. Here’s why:

“Mayor Giuliani Inherited $2.3 Billion Budget Deficit And Turned It Into Multi-Billion Dollar Surplus.” (Steven Lee Myers,“A Deficit Revisited,” The New York Times, 7/31/94.)

NYC’s crime reduction under Giuliani was THREE TO SIX TIMES THE NATIONAL AVERAGE! His policies and steadfast determination, and yes, his love for New York City, turned NYC from a “failed” city into the safest big city in America.

I was in NYC on 9/11 – all I can say is that from great tragedies, sometimes great heroes emerge. Rudy was a hero to all New Yorkers, and the nation, on that day, and in the days that followed. Maybe some have forgotten how important it was to have strong and able leadership on 9/11. I haven’t – and there’s millions across the country who haven’t either!

But you know, given what we all know about international Islamic jihad, all I need to know about Rudy is this: in 1995, NYC hosted a big event at Lincoln Center for various foreign dignitaries. Guess who crashed the party? Yasser Arafat. Rudy’s response? HE THREW THE TERRORIST BASTARD OUT THE DOOR! When the city’s liberal elite cried foul, Giuliani replied, “I would not invite Yasser Arafat to anything, anywhere, anytime, anyplace. I don’t forget.”

BE VOCAL, BE LOCAL – let’s get Rudy elected! The time to act is NOW!
