Hillary Clinton Watch: Money Problems Plague Campaign
Democratic presidential hopeful, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y., carries a gift basket to a member of the traveling press who is finishing his assignment as her charter plane returns to Washington after a day of campaigning in Indiana and Kentucky early Sunday, March 30, 2008.
The Politico has this “PLANTED” story about Hillary Clinton’s supposed campaign cash problems. All campaigns withhold payment of invoices in order to show more cash on hand. Big deal.
There is little doubt that both Clinton’s have the clout and the ability to raise vast sums of money even should Hillary lose the Presidential nomination.
The bigger question is why the Polticio is NOW going up with this story?
Flap has had a problem with this news organization, The Politico, printing or posting trumped up and unsubstantiated plus biased stories about Rudy Giuliani, John McCain and now Hillary.
Hillary a DEADBEAT?
Hardly……..

What is Politico’s game? They wrote the phoney story about Rudy that the media picked up and pretty much destroyed Rudy’s chances. No one pays campaign bills right before reporting for the quarter this late in the cycle. You don’t want to tip your hand to your opponent on how much you really have especially this late in the game. This is much ado about nothing but Politico is inserting their questionable tactics in another campaign. Why?

I thought Hillary didn’t really have a chance anymore, and that is too late for her to catch up.
Even though Obama’s been hurt by his Reverend Jeremiah Wright….. its too late for Hillary.

In the elected delegate department Hillary will lose but in Super Delegates Hillary could win the nomination.
But, will the appointed party hacks and elected Democrats be willing to overturn the votes of the people to nominate a MORE electable candidate for President?
Stay tuned for that.

Samantha,
Obviously Team Obama wants to PUSH Hillary out of the race and/or damage her election cred with the Super Delegates, hence the dropped story to the Politico.
