Hillary Wins in Pennsylvania 55% – 45% Over Obama

US Democratic presidential candidate Senator Hillary Clinton (D-NY) speaks at her Pennsylvania primary election night rally in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, April 22, 2008. Clinton defeated rival Barack Obama in Pennsylvania on Tuesday, prolonging an increasingly negative Democratic presidential race and keeping alive her White House hopes.

Hillary beats Obama in Pennsylvania and her Presidential campaign moves forward.

Hillary Rodham Clinton ground out a gritty victory in the Pennsylvania primary Tuesday night, defeating Barack Obama and staving off elimination in their historic race for the Democratic presidential nomination.

“Some counted me out and said to drop out,” the former first lady told supporters cheering her triumph in a state where she was outspent by more than two-to-one. “But the American people don’t quit. And they deserve a president who doesn’t quit, either.”

“Because of you, the tide is turning.”

Her victory, while comfortable, set up another critical test in two weeks time in Indiana. North Carolina votes the same day, and Obama already is the clear favorite in a Southern state with a large black population.

On to Indiana which does NOT require party registration to vote in the Democrat primary election. Rush Limbaugh will be having some fun with this election. Another “Operation Chaos” will be in the works.

Stay tuned……

By the way,

The Pennsylvania results are here.

The exit polls are here.

A win by 9 points ain’t so bad for Hillary, huh? Makes me think Obama has some weak areas, which would make for an extremely interesting time when McCain tries the same things that Hillary’s been doing last couple of weeks. If you look at it, the situation is going to be about the same – Obama with lots of cash and trying not to go negative. If McCain can hit him with everything in some states, that should spill over into others.

All of Obama’s campaign cash advantage will be counterfeited with the number of battleground states where McCain will have a natural advantage.

Also, many traditional Democrat states where Hillary is strong Obama will have to contend and waste campaign resources.

This race has turned into one in which the Democrats are throwing a probable victory into the trash heap.

Everyone seems to have conveniently forgotten that Senator Barack Obama was considered to be 30 points below Hellacious Hillary just a few weeks before. If it hadn’t been for Hillary’s lies, fear mongering, race baiting, sarcasm, etc., Senator Obama would probably have narrowed the vote even further. How does a truthful, intelligent man conduct a campaign with a woman like Hillary as his opponent! If he says anything derogatory, she gets all teary and accuses the media of being soft on Barack. Then the media bends over backwards, attacking Barack every five minutes, just to appease this virago. The Clintons think they are running this campaign, and constantly change the rules to whatever makes them look good. What a farce!!!

Obama is going to have some trouble in Pennsylvania agiast McCain. I wish him look but I think the Mt area’s of PA will vote McCain. Hillary would have had a better shot in PA.
