One of Flap’s pet peeves are LEFT WING controlled business like the AARP that stealthily hide their ideologically zeal and advocacy. Another such business is Progressive Insurance.

Exit question: Why does the LEFT routinely bash insurance companies when so many of them are controlled by the LEFT in this country and/or are receiving massive government bailouts?

By the way, Flap, although eligible, will never belong to AARP.

With the Obama Administration re-regulating and quasi nationalizing EVERYTHING, the question of enforcement by the federal government arises.

Remember Elian Gonzales, Attorney General Janet Reno and then Assisant Attorney General Eric Holder who is now Attorney General?

Now, that is perspective.

ACORN is just the tip of the iceberg with the re-regulation of America by the “Big Government” Obama Administration.  All of the abuses of the “Great Society” and Jimmy Carter years are coming back.

Conservatives and the GOP are wondering what the have to do to win some seats back in the Congress.

Flap’s advice is to JUST wait and be patient – you will see.

Yes, Chris, we are from the Obama government (ACORN) and we are here to help you.

Is this what Herbert and Marion Sandler, plus George Soros had in mind?

Fox News this morning is reporting a news media deal between ACORN, La Raza and MSNBC.

MSNBC has launched a news project with a variety of left-wing special interest groups to boost their Election Day coverage and help viewers experiencing problems at the polls.

One of the groups involved in MSNBC’s “Election Protection” project is the Association of Community Organizers for Reform Now. ACORN has been involved in rampant voter registration fraud across the nation this election cycle and is actively supporting Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama for president.

“Our partnership with Election Protection will play a major role in NBC News’ ‘Making Your Vote Count’ coverage, said Phil Alongi, Executive Producer of NBC News’ Election Coverage in an Oct. 22 press release. “Not only will we be able to direct voters who are experiencing problems with a hotline to call, we will also have our team of reporters and producers follow-up on the information Election Protection is gathering.”

When asked for comment about ACORN’s role in the project MSNBC spokesman Jeremy Gaines wrote Townhall in an email “this a question for them, not us.”

What NBC news is actually partnering with Team Obama through ACORN? You mean more than through their news anchors, Chris Matthews, Rachel Maddow and Keith Olbermann?

Fancy that media bias……..

The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) attempted to register Disney cartoon character Mickey Mouse to vote in Florida this summer.

This year, ACORN signed up 1.3-million voters nationwide and about 152,000 in Florida, mostly in Orange, Broward and Miami-Dade counties. ACORN estimates it flagged 2 percent of its Florida registrations as problematic because they were incomplete, duplicates or just plain bogus.

That’s enough to give headaches to election officials and to provide ammunition to Republican activists.

Brevard County elections officials have turned over 23 suspect registrations from ACORN to prosecutors. The state Division of Elections has received two ACORN-related complaints, in Orange and Broward counties.

ACORN wasn’t active in the Tampa Bay area. Last week, however, Pinellas County elections officials gave local prosecutors 35 questionable registrations from another group, Work for Progress.

The GOP accuses ACORN of registration fraud all over the country. In Las Vegas, authorities said the group’s petitions included the names of the starting lineup of the Dallas Cowboys.

“This is part of a widespread and systemic effort … to undermine the election process,” says Republican National Committee chief counsel Sean Cairncross, who describes ACORN as a “quasicriminal organization.”

And, how much did the Barack Obama campaign contribute to ACORN this year?

Over 1 $ million, you don’t say?

2941731450 d7bacd391c o ACORN Tries to Register Mickey Mouse in Florida

Now, the state of North Carolina is investigating suspicious voter registration forms submitted by ACORN. Also, in Ohio, Nevada and Michigan – other battleground states. Here is a case in Indiana.

The Wall Street Journal this morning has a piece about the Obama-ACORN relationship.

The Bush Justice Department and FBI need to treat these fraudulent activities of ACORN as serious matters and not random local irregularities of voter fraud.

The integrity of our election laws demand no less.
