Chris, Flap is surprised that Jan had an exclusive interview with President Obama. She doesn’t represent an Arab/Islamic based media outlet, does she?
President Barack Obama gave his first formal television interview as president to an Arabic cable TV network, telling Al-Arabiya that when it comes to Middle East matters “all too often the United States starts by dictating.”
Obama taped the interview with the Dubai-based network Monday as his envoy to the Middle East, former Sen. George J. Mitchell, set out for an eight-day trip to the region and elsewhere. The interview complemented the new administration’s first efforts to reach out to Arab leaders in the region, who have been wary at best of U.S. efforts to broker peace between Israel and the Palestinians.
Or is daddy, a media MOGUL with NBC News, maybe MSNBC?

MSNBC’s Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann take their last shots RANTS at President Bush
The dynamic LEFT duo of Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann are back anchoring Presidential politics for MSNBC. As you remember, they were removed last summer after criticism of media bias.
Within a couple minutes of President Bush’s farewell speech, MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann asked, “Am I wrong that the only thing missing tonight was another ‘Mission Accomplished’ banner?”
Chris Matthews, shortly after, said that Bush “got to be president because of his father.”
Both MSNBC stars took heat from conservative critics during the campaign for their analysis of news events — such as election nights or conventions. Toward the end of the campaign, MSNBC removed the Olbermann-Matthews duo from anchoring due to such criticism and staff tension (both on camera and off).
Looking at the latest television ratings, MSNBC will not be doing themselves any favors by unleashing these two and Rachel Maddow.
But, third place in the news ratings is not all that bad, now is it?

David Shuster of MSDNC (MSNBC) Vs. John Ziegler on Sarah Palin’s complaints about media bias
Flap thinks Sarah Palin’s latest foray into the biased media world borders on whining. Nobody likes a whining POL.
Time for the Alaska Governor to concentrate on the future and policy issues rather than the “poor ol’ me” routine.
She is better than this John Ziegler exploitation moment and besides there are plenty of surrogates who can bash Shuster, Matthews and Olbermann over at MSDNC. Remember Shuster’s glee at the Palin Thanksgiving Turkey pardon-slaughter news conference?
Enjoy the clip above anyway.

Ellen explains how dancing with MSNBC’s host of “Hardball†Chris Matthews got out of hand.
Yeah, besides having a tingle down his leg for “The One,” Matthews is a lousy dancer.
NO! This is not the real reason but it is revealed in this New York Time’s piece.
Exit Answer: MONEY and LIFESTYLE for the 63 year old Matthews.

Ellen explains how dancing with MSNBC’s host of “Hardball” Chris Matthews got out of hand.
If Chris Matthews has indeed talked to Democrat Party consultants about facing off against incumbent Pennsylvania GOP Senator Arlen Specter he should relinquish his “Hardball” Show.
The Patriot News reports the MSNBC host is “continues to talk with top Democrats about the possibility” of running for Senate in 2010 against Sen. Arlen Specter, R-Penn.
Matthews, 62, met with Democratic State Committee Chairman T.J. Rooney and executive director Mary Isenhour in Washington, D.C. “to discuss the logistics involved in a Senate run. Isenhour said she left that meeting convinced Matthews has not made up his mind about running.”
Would Matthews make the best candidate against Specter who is OLD and had cancer for years now?
Who knows?
But, it is unlikely his show can be viewed as impartial, particularly in this Senate race until Matthews makes up his mind whether to run or not. Of course, he would rather “milk” his announcement and stay on the tube as long as he can.
NBC News should force his hand.
In or out, Chris?

Peggy Noonan makes the point on MSNBC
Peggy Noonan says the media is “playing” a game to make Sarah Palin the face of the GOP. Of course, we know Noonan is NO fan of Sarah Palin so she is inclined to fuel the fire so to speak – especially on MSNBC.
But, Noonan has a point. Watch the video below:
Keith Olbermann ridiculing Sarah Palin on NBC’s Martha Stewart Show over Turkeygate
Looks like to Flap that NBC and the LEFT which permeates its news AND entertainment shows wish to make Sarah Palin the “NEW” Bush.
After all, President Bush is leaving office and it worked so well demonizing him for electoral success. Why not pick a new charicature – Sarah Palin?
Allah has it RIGHT:
Long story short, the left’s laying a bet that she’ll be easy pickings down the line and the right’s laying a bet that she’s here to save the day. And the pot just keeps getting bigger and bigger.
Exit Question: While NBC and the LEFT concentrates on Palin Derangement Syndrome will other GOP stars rise to be the face of the party?
