Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez speaks during a meeting with the foreign media at the Miraflores Presidential Palace in Caracas, Venezuela, Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2006. Chavez said that Democrats made strong gains in U.S. congressional elections thanks to a ‘reprisal vote’ against U.S. President George W. Bush . The picture in the background is the Venezuelan liberator Simon Bolivar.
Venezuela’s president continued his criticism of President Bush after the pro-Chávez legislature declared that the 9/11 attacks were `self-inflicted.’
Miami Herald: Chávez attacks Bush as a ‘genocidal’ leader
When Venezuela’s leftist President Hugo Chávez called President Bush ”the devil” in a U.N. speech in September, many thought his ”anti-imperialist” rhetoric had reached rock bottom.
But fresh depths have since been plumbed. The Venezuelan government, to judge from recent events, officially regards Bush as a genocidal Nazi who arranged the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks to justify aggression against other nations.
In a speech Tuesday, Chávez criticized the decision of an Iraqi court to sentence former dictator Saddam Hussein to the death penalty. ”If sentencing is to be done,” Chávez said, “the first one to be given the most severe sentence this planet has to offer should be the president of the United States, if we’re talking about genocidal presidents.”
NUTTER, NUTTER, NUTTER
His comments, which were fairly typical of his recent attacks on Bush, came shortly after the publication of a resolution by Venezuela’s legislative National Assembly describing the 9/11 attacks as ”self-inflicted” and after an exhibition at the Foreign Ministry building in Caracas in which Bush was portrayed as a Nazi storm trooper.
The resolution, which appeared in the official government gazette in mid-October, primarily criticized Washington’s decision to build a wall along the Mexican border to keep illegal immigrants out.
But in its fourth paragraph, it calls on the U.S. Congress to “demand that the government of President Bush explain the self-inflicted attack on the World Trade Center and its victims, the supposed aircraft that crashed into the Pentagon and the links between the bin Laden family and the Bush family.”
The resolution, drafted by the deputy chairman of the Foreign Affairs Commission, Carlos Escarrá, was passed unanimously by the 167-member assembly, all of them Chávez supporters after an opposition boycott of elections last December.
Both Chávez and Foreign Minister Nicolás Maduro have referred several times in the past to suspicions that the 9/11 attacks were planned by the Bush administration, and have called for an inquiry.
But this appears to be the first time that the term ”self-inflicted attack” has been used without qualification.
Asked how the legislature had reached that conclusion, Escarrá said that ”evidence and testimonies” had emerged in the United States and that ”for the rest of the world, there is no longer any question” that 9/11 was not an al Qaeda attack.
About the time the lawmakers were approving the resolution, an exhibition called ”Truths About the Empire” was on display in the foyer of the Foreign Ministry. It included a photo montage showing Bush dressed in the uniform of the German SS.
Flap wonders if John Conyers will pick up on this………

New York Daily News (Via Michelle Malkin): Ex-Dem pol’s how-to for impeaching W
Former Brooklyn Rep. Liz Holtzman has a new book out – and its premise is a dream come true for many Democrats. It’s called “The Impeachment of George W. Bush: A Practical Guide for Concerned Citizens.” Holtzman knows a thing or two about taking on a President because she worked on President Richard Nixon’s impeachment.
“This came out of what I would call my niche expertise,” Holtzman said. “I know what constitutes a high crime and misdemeanor.”
The genesis for the book were newspaper reports that President Bush had given the National Security Agency approval to engage in domestic spying.
“One of the grounds for Nixon’s impeachment was wiretapping in violation of the Constitution,” Holtzman said. “I said, ‘Oh, no, here were go again.’”
In her book, Holtzman and co-writer Cynthia Cooper lay out four other issues on which they believe Bush could be impeached: lying about weapons of mass destruction to justify invading Iraq, allowing the torture of prisoners, leaking classified information and botching the federal response to Hurricane Katrina.
“I thought that when we voted to impeach Richard Nixon, this would send a very strong message to future Presidents – do not put yourself above the rule of law,” said Holtzman, a Democrat. “That message was not heard by President Bush.”
The Moonbat NUTTERS are warming up in the bullpen. When John Conyers takes over the House Judiciary Committee in January the sparks will fly as well as the subpoenas. Will Speaker Nancy Pelosi be able to control Conyers?
Doubtful…….
Look what Ed Koch former Mayor of New York City says:
“I expect that [Rep. John] Conyers as chairman [of the House Judiciary Committee], now with great freedom, will do anything he can to commence such impeachment or investigatory activity, and we’ll see whether Pelosi will prevent it,” Koch says.
Earlier this summer, Conyers issued a 350-page “investigative report” on the Bush administration that was widely viewed as a road map for Bush’s impeachment if the Democrats took control of the House. Conyers charged that the Bush administration had violated “approximately 26 laws and regulations.”
The GOP can only hope Conyers calls this report up and begins the investigations. This will tie up the House until the next election cycle.
Besides Dick Cheney would then be the President should Bush be impeached and convicted. The way President bush is selling out the conservatives on immigration reform, perhaps a cheney Presidency would not be bad for the GOP or the country.
Stay tuned for more Moonbattery………..

Julia Wilson, 14, got a surprise visit from two Secret Service agents Wednesday at McClatchy High after the words “Kill Bush” appeared on MySpace.com. Her mom, Kirstie Wilson, says she should have been present when her daughter was questioned.
Do you think Julia learned her lesson? Obviously her Moonbat parents haven’t.

Kenmore Square and the landmark Citgo sign are seen from the roof of the John Hancock Tower in Boston on Monday, Feb. 13, 2006. Boston City Councilor Jerry McDermott wants to take down the famed sign in Kenmore Square in response to controversial remarks by Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez when he called President Bush ‘the devil’ during a speech at the U.N. General Assembly Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2006.
Convenience store operator 7-Eleven Inc. is dropping Venezuela-backed Citgo as its gasoline supplier at more than 2,100 locations and switching to its own brand of fuel.
The retailer said Wednesday it will purchase fuel from several distributors, including Tower Energy Group of Torrance, Calif., Sinclair Oil of Salt Lake City, and Houston-based Frontier Oil Corp.
A spokeswoman for Dallas-based 7-Eleven said its 20-year contract with Citgo Petroleum Corp. ends next week. About 2,100 of 7-Eleven’s 5,300 U.S. stores sell gasoline.
Citgo is a Houston-based subsidiary of Venezuela’s state-owned oil company, and the foreign parent became a public-relations issue for 7-Eleven because of comments by Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez.
Good for 7-Eleven.
But, America needs to end its dependence on foreign sources of energy.

Venezuela’s President Hugo Chavez acknowledges members of the 61st session of the United Nations General Assembly at U.N. headquarters, Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2006.
AP: At U.N., Chavez calls Bush ‘the devil’
Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez took his verbal battle with the United States to the floor of the U.N. General Assembly on Wednesday, calling President Bush “the devil.”
The impassioned speech by the leftist leader came a day after Bush and Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad sparred over Tehran’s disputed nuclear program but managed to avoid a personal encounter.
“The devil came here yesterday,” Chavez said, referring to Bush’s address on Tuesday and making the sign of the cross. “He came here talking as if he were the owner of the world.”
Allah has the video and more: Video: Chavez flips out at the UN (Highlights added)
The transcript is here.
The White House has refused comment but Flap will respond.
American people why are we listening to Marxist Latin American dictators and Islamofascists at the United Nations which derives over 25 per cent of its support from the United States?
Isn’t it time to send the United Nations out of New York and withdraw from this useless, reckless, ineffective, racist and anti-semitic institution?
Chavez’s speech was a JOKE by a smart-ass piece of shit NUTTTER-MORON dictator. Send him home and boycott Venezulean products, including its oil.
Stay tuned…….

NewsBusters: Sean Penn: Bush Caused ‘Enormous Damage to Mankind,’ May Bring Fascism to U.S.
Actor Sean Penn, in a taped Larry King Live interview aired Thursday night on CNN to promote his new movie, All the King’s Men, in which he plays a Huey Long-like character, suggested President Bush may bring fascism to America, charged that Bush has “devastated our democracy,†insisted Donald Rumsfeld and Bush have done “enormous damage†to “this country and mankind†and claimed the war on terrorism is meant to distract from reality.
Watch the Video here.
King: “But when the President says we should support emerging democracies, because democracy’s better for the world, is that — isn’t he right?â€
Penn: “I think he’s devastated our democracy. I think you have to start with our democracy. He’s made us divided. I have a lot of very good friends who are Republicans, who are right-wing Republicans. And when you are with people and you talk to people as people, and not as Republicans and Democrats, you find that’s why his numbers are down. Because people have common sense. They’re going to vote, you know, in a few months, and they’re going to say, well, are we going to be suckers again? Are we going to be suckers to partisan policy and politics and all of that stuff?
“By the way, no Democrat that doesn’t have a plan to get our troops out of Iraq should be voted for. Not one of them. You know, there’s got to be some courage expressed, and that’s what I’m worried about is that we’re not going to have good choices.â€
And we want to trust THIS MORON on foreign affairs and American politics?
But, Flap agrees with Penn on his last statement. Flap will not vote for any Democrat who does not have a plan to get America out of Iraq.
The Democrats do not have a plan and Flap WON’T.
